There were a lot of negative reviews for this camera, but I took a leap of faith and went ahead and purchased it. It was the well worth the money. The bundle was worth the purchase. I loved having the chest piece. I got all the best roller coasters at 1080p. It is Water proof as we did take it on some water rides, but we did not dive under water with it. The battery lasted us the whole day, but what I did was I waited till I was on the ride and then turn it on. As soon as the ride was over and we existed I then turned it off. I was able to make the battery last the whole day, but have a back up battery is nice. I would highly recommend it.

I have a large family and sometimes more than other times someone is always left out of the picture. This go pro is small and user friendly, purchased around the holidays and placed it up high interesting to go back and edit footage. cant wait until the summer comes i bought an water proof case.

The Hero GoPro 5 4K is amazing, it's really compact, waterproof to 30ft Has 4 picture modes super wide angle to 1to1. You can even give several voice commands. Best GoPro yet without a doubt

The gopro takes great photos and videos. There is nothing else to say. now what I can say about the material that is used to make this is okay. I wish the glass they use in front of the info indicator was made with a more stratch or crack resistant. the 1st day, a crack formed.. I thought since gopro are used for heavy usage for sports and adventure that this would not be an issue. But it is. other than that, I love it.

Bought this for my son-in-law. He raves about it. He uses it when he rides his motorcycle and has said that the video quality is very good. It's easy to use and the voice control works well.

Camera works well and take super pictures. I especially like using it in a case under the water.

The GoPro Hero5 Black was the best purchase I could have made. So easy to learn to use and with 4K shooting, the content is so clear and makes you feel like you're still living in the adventure. Even if you don't like a "crazy, adventurous" life constantly traveling or going sky diving or surfing, you still can find so many reasons to own this camera. You can attach the camera to your dog and see life in a dogs life, your son/daughter can use it while playing sports to evaluate performance, or you could even use it as the best man at a wedding during your grand entrance to capture an amazing view and memory for the newlyweds. The options are endless...

This is the newest GoPro camera and I really like the quality of the videos and the easy operation. The audio is pretty darn good too and the ability to video under water is awesome!

Took me a while to get the hang of but when I did it was awesome- especially when we look back at the photos and movies we took. Yes it is sa bit costly but well worth it and we've only used in on a 10 day holiday so far. Trust me it will get use that is for sure. Highly recommend it

Easy to use! Great image! Voice activation is extremely convenient! Got the Hero 5 for our 13 yr old son for Xmas and he is loving all the easy to use features. 1st took it skiing and was happy to use the voice activation skiing down mtn & then come home, take it out of his pocket & show all the great videos. No shakiness, image was beautiful, sound clear. My husband also would like to highlight the voice activation feature as he can activate the go pro when he is mtn climbing hanging from a rope with 2 ice axes from his hands. No matter what activity this item is a welcome in our everyday lives. From bike riding to water activities. Skies the limit

great quality action camera. voice control is great new feature. little expensive but worth it in the long run for avid users. has different charge and battery compared to older gopros.

This camera is so easy to use! I have hero4 silver. Black and session, along with the 5 black and session. The 5 black is my go to camers. Size, ease of use, and quality can't be beat!

Excellent for photos and video but you definitely pay a premium for the GoPro name. Not sure it's worth it over the competition unless you really want the ease of use that GoPro has. Personally I'd recommend Sony's line of action cameras but the girlfriend said it's GoPro or nothing!

Great camera, shoots excellent in low light. Love the touch screen and voice control. I use mine mainly for surfing and water sports and it works great. Awesome video and image.

Easy to use. Takes great images. Waterproof is a great feature. Easy mounting to almost anything anywhere makes capturing those special moments so much more enjoyable.

This is my first GoPro. I purchased because my wife and I travel often and usually it becomes adventurous. So I bought weeks before out trip to Asia. We are back now and I literally used the gopro daily, it was never out of sight and often being used throughout most of the day. The voice response was perfect, the shots are clear video is crystal clear. We loved using it and it was an easy to use as I am very novice with camera tech, but this was literally point and shot or point and record and it does all of the work. Very durable, we were in water almost daily and the waterproof was scary at first but it did its job! Epic little camera.

This is the second GoPro we have purchased. Before purchasing this one we had the the 4black, let me just say this one compared to that one is a lot better! The 5 has a screen which makes options and filming easier. The 5 also does not need a case to be waterproof, in its original form it is waterproof, making the sound quality amazing when using it for water sports! We are a river family and bought this camera to make memorable family videos of our trips and holidays, so far so good! Don't think about it but it!

Gopro hero 5 takes great action photos and video. Easy to use and upload images to iMovie and/or Gopro Studio. Water resistant as described when using at beach in the surf.

THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT. IT RECORDS IN 4K AND HAS A GREAT BATTERY LIFE. ITS SMALL AND VERSATILE. VERY DURABLE. IT COMES WITH A NEW TOUCH SCREEN FEATURE THAT IS VERY RESPONSIVE.

My previous GoPro camera was the 3+ Black. I liked that camera a lot but got a little annoyed juggling different waterproof housings and others for each situation. This camera is waterproof when wearing the provided housing up to 33 feet. I'm not scuba diving so this was perfect for me. The camera worked great and takes great video. The things I'm disappointed with: Still no speeds of 60fps or higher in 4k. This is a bit disappointing given that the recording specs are basically the same as the Hero 4. I added the GoPro Grip which is their stabilizer. I really like the Grip (albeit expensive) but in order to use it, you have to remove the latch cover for the charging and video output plugs. This isn't easy to get off without fear of breaking it and sure enough, I did. Supposedly they sell replacements but the face that it is fragile enough to break and a critical part of one of the accessories is aggravating.
