This is my 4 th go pro purchase ! Each one has gotten better except the 3+black. Wasnt a huge fan of that one . The 5 black is amazing and super easy to use. The voice feature and touch controls just took this camera way above even the 4 black which is a great camera also . I would reccomend to anyone and actualy have convinced several friends to purchase. You wont be disappointed

Camera is overall great everyone knows this, but one thing the camera frame is not that great. it's very hard to unlatch, not have access for charge port as well replacement of battery without the removal of camera from this frame.

The GoPro hero 5 has two features that I find super useful. The first is the option to correct the fisheye distortion in camera and the second is the time lapse mode. Being able to correct for the fish eye lenses makes this a much more versatile camera. Now that the camera is sans protective case you are able to get much more usuable audio from the camera, too. Making the hero 5 conceivably a one stop shop for a video camera. To correct for the fish-eye lense just select narrow or linear within the field of view options on your GoPro. The second killer feature is the ability to create time lapses. I use the time lapse function to make hyper lapses of sunsets. It is super easy to use and automatically comes together within GoPro's editing software with no need to sitch the individual images together like other programs. I've got my go pro on the little gorilla pod ~$20. It makes the prefect tripod for setting up time lapses. Check out my YouTube channel for some sample time lapses xStevenx81. As normal the camera is awesome for everything sports. I would say that you can't go wrong with this little camera.

Bought it for summer vacation, Cruise in the Caribbean and had great results photos and videos were amazing I highly recommended picking one up for anyone going on vacation with the family and battery was decent also we would go on excursions for hours and come back with 50% battery life

Love this new version of GoPro. Used for our trip to Maui, above and below the sea. I used a Super Suit when scuba, footage was great. In fact, it was great above and below. This is a MUST if you're into action video. Have yet to try allll the features this camera is loaded with.

Would buy it again! Bought for skiing trips so that I can post runs from the days adventure. Very rugged & waterproof unless your like me and transfer from your karma grip to a submersible handle without epkacing waterproof cover. Insurance came in handy and I would recommend.

The GoPro hero 5 is great for capturing outdoor action. I use mounted on my kayak to catch up close action while photographing birds and wild animals such as moose. The ability to zoom as well as set area of exposure adds to the quality of videos taken

Excellent camera, try in all modes, and it is almost perfect, I think it only needs to add a bit more light for photo and video shots, and almost forgot the battery life is short, you need to buy a backup.

I bought the gopro hero 5 for our trip to the Hawaiian island for some snorkeling outings. The camera is great. Worked well under water. I think it’s better underwater than above water.

Great for mountain biking amazing sound and stabilization. First go pro purchase and have been very pleased with the picture and apps available.

Best camera ever ! I had the hero 3 + and I dan see the difference between these two I will invest my money in hero 5! If you are adventurous and like to explore get the hero 5 !!

My wife got me the Gopro for my birthday. We use it at our vacation at the Bahamas. It took great picture at the water ride and tin the water.
