Awesome quality, love how its water proof and the touch screen

Easy to operate, high quality pictures and videos, perfect size

As a long time GoPro user, I love the new features, especially not having to use a case. Image quality and sound is just great!

Bought this to capture everything on a recent cruise. Easy to setup and use and the pic and video quality is excellent. The sound was even captured during scuba diving With the GoPro locked into its optional underwater case. The camera is a little pricey, but the accessories took our total investment to just under $1,000. But sure worth it.

Having a GoPro on vacation helps make your trip 10X more memorable. The Hero5 is much easier to use compared to the older generations. The touch screen display makes it easier to take better quality photos. And the apps associated with the camera make viewing and editing the pictures/videos a lot of fun! I highly recommend.

My 16 year daughter enjoys making and edit videos and got this camera for her. It's light and small which make very convenient. She is now motivated to make her own videos, great value for price, great videos and takes photos, too; creating great family memories to share with everybody. Also you can "share" the info of the camera with her phone.

Works as expected. I wish the battery life was better, about 3 hours on a charge. Also takes a couple seconds for the camera to wake up, which isnt a big deal, but can be annoying trying to catch a quick picture.

I got this gopro and I already knew some things about it for the price its amazing just have to get used to not being able to zoom in and out but the width is amazing and love the photos, videos and the voice activation!!!! Would be another 4 if I could right now but in the future it is nice to have and its waterproof!!!

Just used the GoPro recently in a snow outing at Mt. Pinos and the videos are really nice and very sharp. The switches are really user friendly. The only downside is setting it at 4K and I was not able to view it in my new XPS 8910 Dell computer so I ended up changing the setting to 1080P. Other than the viewing part the product is excellent.

pitcher quality was awsome allso video recording on my Harley was smoth and clear.

This camera is awesome. It's so small and yet it takes amazing video and pictures. I'm glad I bought the higher version of the camera. I can operate it independently. I do not have to use the app to operate the camera. It's simple to use with a touch screen. There are so many different options for mounting the camera. It's limitless

Great camera, already knew everything about it before purchasing it, the experience is even better. The only downside is that the battery doesn’t last long enough when you’re going for a longer surf session.

It is the coolest little camera I had a hero 3 black before such a big difference

I bought the GoPro HERO5 as a Christmas gift for my teenage daughter. We celebrated Christmas in Hawaii and she had a great time taking photos and videos underwater as well as on top and everywhere we went. This is our first experience with a GoPro and the quality of the photos and videos was surprisingly AWESOME!!!

A very handy and great image capture capability camera and very handy for quick videos. Sound also is captured very neat.

Very easy to use, I like the size, only cons is not so good battery life

This camera is great. Portable, durable and reliable. We use it on our SUP and it’s great to watch the high quality vids.

Upgrading from the Hero 3+ Silver has proven to be a stark difference in my GoPro experience. I loved by old GoPro, but this is next-level. From the feel, to the touchscreen, to the obvious great video quality to the fact I no longer absolutely need a separate housing at all times, I am a big fan of the new GoPro. Definitely recommend.

I've owned several previous models/versions of GoPro Hero cameras. So I'm familiar with their operation. The Hero 5 takes a HUGE leap forward in usability. The touch screen on the back and the easy to navigate menus are a snap. They speed up the process of accessing the features of the camera and get you recording the fun stuff quicker.
