It's small, it records 4k video, takes awesome pictures and what else... It's waterproof right out of the box. Great camera for anyone on the go and outdoors often, only down side is no flash but it's an outdoor cam so it's not meant to. Use the light on your cell to take a pic at night. Lol

The stability feature works great. The videos are very clear.

Took this little camera to Mexico for a vacation and the quality of the videos I took were amazing!

It's an awesome camera and only thing that's not so great is the low amount of recording you can do on the sd card which you have to purchase separately. Other than that, I love that you can edit your videos on the phone once you download the app. Another buzz kill is that the battery life is ridiculous and needs constant charging. But I did love the voice command it comes in handy. Overall, great investment.

Handy, waterproof, capture memories, only negative is battery life, always carry a back up battery.

I had been thinking about getting the hero4 for about a year, but went for the hero5 when it came out. I've never had a gopro before, so I can't compare it to an older model. It's easy to use & any pics/vids I've take have turned out great so far. I'm very excited to take it on my cruise next month!

While producing a web series we were unsure of what camera to buy. The Hero 5 was the best choice.

I purchased this camera to help with getting top quality video of my daughter playing softball. The quality ids awesome and glad I made the investment. I highly recommend this camera. The ease of working it with your phone is cool. I also took it river rafting and the videos were fabulous.

Easy to use and great quality. However the APP needs work.

Phenomenal video quality, ease of use and portability. We have used it at the beach playing around in the waves, my son put it on his bike, we've taken it with us while hiking. You cant beat quality and all the different ways to utilize this camera!

I'm so glad I waited to buy myself a Go Pro because this version has some really nice features that were not available on previous GoPro cameras. I especially like the fact that the camera is waterproof. I've been using this camera primarily while skiing and have gotten some great footage.

All I had before was the Hero 3 black and I was very disappointed in the quality of the video, especially while on my motorcycle. I can say the Hero 5 is much better. The imagine stabilization improves the video 100%.

The Camera nice with great features, videos looks great.

I use it daily for dog walking business so can’t use any cover, need to charge it daily. So it suks it doesn’t have any hole for a carrying option. Also it sometimes decides not to work and i need to manually remove the battery and turn it on again. Ans happened to twice that i couldn’t connect it and had to restart everything and start all over. Otherwise great idea of a product

Great little camera. I liked the ease of use and the fact that there are no secondary covers.

If you've used a GoPro before the interface will be familiar. I've owned other GoPro cameras and this is a great upgrade for me. The video it shoots is broadcast quality for TV. Having an exoskeleton on this model means you don't need a water proof case...less gear to buy. Very happy!

We bought this to use on a family cruise. Great video and easy to share using the GoPro app!!
