Having owned the GoPro Hero Black 3, Hero 3+ Black prior, I think the GoPro Hero 5 Black is a considerable improvement. We took them with us on a weekend at Atlantis Adventure water park in the Bahamas and love the result we came back with! Not having to enclose the sports cam in a clear acrylic case means no more muffled sound (as opposed to the prior GoPro cameras), The built-in stabilization means smoother video while walking with the camera. The built-in LCD panel on back means no more blind guessing if the subject is being framed properly. I did have to also get new batteries because the ones from the previous GoPro's don't fit. I highly recommend updating the firmware to the latest version as soon as you get the camera and if the Android App is not working, make sure that you have granted the GoPro App permission to send notifications in your phone's settings. The colors and resolution are a big improvement and so is the touch-screen menus on the LCD panel. I am very pleased!

Even after all these years and many competitors gopro stil is king with its video quality, frame rate, built in watertight housing and its stabilization features, use this on alot of my outings just wish they had a loyalty or trade up program better than they do today.

Love the photos and videos. Easy to use. Had to buy an extra battery since they run out fast.

Love the quality of the pictures it takes. Battery life could improve. Also it needs a flash

My new GoPro Hero5 Black is the best model yet! The Black's new features provide me with enhanced shooting possibilities, and it's trimmed weight and compact size put my Hero5 Black at the top of my list as a great camera package for drone photo capture and handling. I own a twin set!

From the GoPro4 to the 5. The camera is now waterproof which is a nice upgrade. It isn't a huge change from the 4 and I havent used it anywhere near as much as the 4 yet, but I like the new options. Only downside i've experienced was the camera getting quite hot and freezing after extended use. It's also a must to get a backup battery.

I bought this camera to use while riding my SeaDoo. It takes great still images as well as recording amazing HD video. Internal microphone captures audio even while riding at speed and doesn’t really have any wind noise. Voice control works great once you learn the commands.

My grandson loves it. He took photos and video using the different attachments to hold it. He has had a great time learning how to use it to get the best photos/ videos. Very pleased with our purchase and with your staff who helped us find the items we needed and what we didn't need.

I really like this GoPro. Its easy to use, and the option to go under water with it is amazing. At first I was scared to put it under water but since I bought extra warranty I decided to get it wet and it worked as described. The videos are clear and vivid.

GoPro Hero 5 is the real deal in action cameras, this is my first action camera and shoots a amazing quality video, its wifi capable and voice recognition. the price is steep but i think its well worth it. only thing that isn't great about the Hero 5 is the photograph quality.

I am in love with my GoPro! Picture quality is great and the software apps are easy to use. I wish the battery would last a bit longer, but I leave my wifi and location on usually, so that drains my battery mostly.

I've had an older GoPro for a while now and I've used it a lot but this one is so much better. My old GoPro didn't have the touch screen which is really useful and ultra clear. I didn't think I would use the voice control, but it's actually great and I find myself using it a lot.

I used to have a hero 4 silver and was on the fence about upgrading. I am glad I did the upgrade. I never realized until now how good the sound could be. Perfect example going to a waterfall and getting good audio now that there is no case required to protect the camera from water.

These guys seem to have taken a page from Apples playbook.They observe what buyers want and respond by improving product. Better video quality,waterproofing, and voice commands are this rounds upgrades. If It could only zoom in on command, I wouldn't need to carry another camera.

The camera is great it’s compact and does so much.

I've had the Hero 3 and 4 and this is the best one of them all. Love the voice command.

I got this for my husband's birthday. We used it for our vacation no need to carry bulky camera and tripods. Use it for multiple island hoppings and safari rides. It came with a free Go Pro 3 way mount . It is easy to use sturdy, and versatile. Happy husband, happy wife. ;)
