use it all the time for hunting shoots a very crisp video!

I absolutely love this camera! I've owned it now for about 2 1/2 months and couldn't be happier. I ride a motorcycle to work a few times a month and use it during my commute. The app connects with zero issues and allows me to ensure the camera is at a good angle for viewing. It attached to my helmet with ease with the included hardware. I was skeptical about spending so much on an "action camera" but there really isn't anything else out there that operates at such a high quality as this GoPro Hero5 Black. I almost went the cheaper route and got the Session, but the app connectivity, I've heard, is very buggy and not entirely reliable. Overall, I'm super satisfied with my purchase. Now I want a Karma Grip because I want to use it more for filming family stuff.

GoPro Hero5 is the 4K action camera that we wanted, with more straightforward menus on a two-inch touchscreen and out-of-the-box water resistance. It still takes commitment to edit and master its controls to be worth the price.

This camper works great underwater so far! Easy to use and take great video. We are purchasing a red filter for deep underwater diving in the Caribbean as well as the housing that allows you to go to depths over 35 feet.

All is good, takes great recordings. If you film anything above 1080p you will not be able to use the mobile apps for iPhone or iPads to edit on the go. Voice command works, but for me it was awkward yelling at my camera in public places to take a photo, especially if it didn't work on the first try. It is fully waterproof so thats good.

Huge fan of GoPro. I enjoy using it on vacations to capture the moments. the 4K quality is amazing. I enjoy using it in the water, on the go or doing other outdoor activities.

Easy to use , water resistant works great , The only downside is mic problem when filming after you get out of the water

I upgraded to the Hero Black after my trusty Hero3+ Black developed scratches on the lens. The 3+ black was an incredible camera with great battery life and very good optics that I had learned how to make great in post production. I was apprehensive about the 5 Black after reading/watching the negative reviews on other sites. I'm pleased to say I haven't seen any justification for these reviews. The optics on this camera are incredible and when stabilization is turned on this camera really shines. I regularly upload videos to YouTube and with the Hero5 Black I will be able to bring quality 4k content to my channel. This is the best GoPro yet! Waterproof right out the box,very good sound, picture/video quality and voice commands make this an excellent action camera choice! The battery life could be better...will need to get an extra one.

Bought this for my daughter's bridal shower, wedding and trip! Everything was captured well! Happy with the purchase! This was even used during scuba diving and inflatable island activities it worked well!

We used this for snorkeling and it took great pictures and is very easy to use.

I bought this GoPro to use on my motorcycle and a few other hobbies that I have. It's easy to use and fun to play with. It takes great pictures and videos. It's nice that you can control it with your iPhone or iPad.

This is our default video recorded now for anywhere we go. You will need the accessories so think about extra budget for that for sure. We needed the floating handle and underwater lens - both a must for snorkeling videos. Durable almost to a point where it's hard to take apart to eject the card or insert the charge cable. Solid.

This camera is so incredibly impressive. Right out of the box this has been my favorite camera I have ever used. They are so user friendly and in my opinion the only thing they lack is the fact that they are an action camera and so therefore you aren't able to capture anything at a distance, but this goes along with the product, they are all like this and that is the point of them. It is super nice to be able to take it anywhere and not worry about it getting sandy or dirty or wet or getting dropped or anything like you would a normal camera. The quality is fantastic audio and visual. I loved it so much I bought another one, a karma drone, and a lot of accessories and I use them all the time.

The GoPro is pretty awesome. I've been having some technical difficulties but that may be user error. I've been able to film some pretty cool movies and the images on my 4K TV are really good. We'll see how it goes when I get some help on the technical side. Issues have revolved around connectivity from my camera to my iPhone 7 plus.
