This works fantastic. Used it on a two week vacation with it in the water every day. Had it in Salt Water many of those days. Audio and functionality perfect and the picture quality amazing. Very Happy with purchase.

Very useful cámara, battery life good, 4K is amazing!

Purchased the HERO5 to replace a HERO4 that I gave to my son. I like this one much better. Controls are easier to use and it uses less battery. The built in LCD is much better than the bacpac LCD display on the HERO4.

So far the best Gopro I've used. Also have a session.

Il like my camera, good size, real wather proof, have a lot accessories, but the only think I dislike is the battery. The sales person told me.... The battery works 4 hours with full charge. But when I start with my recording the battery works just 35 minutes.

We own a GoPro3 before purchasing this, but the clarify is so much different . The camera is very compact and we actually purchase the stick for the very first time. We can't wait to go on another vacation to use this

Aside from the obvious great picture quality this is a very cool camera, the voice activation feature is amazing, and the waterproof feature is very much needed it takes away limitations on what can be done. I Love it.

The GoPro Hero series is pretty much the standard in action cameras and for good reason. I had a Contour Roam 2 before this and there is literally a world of difference! I don't think it's perfect yet but getting close. The only gripe I have is with the protective case on you cannot open the USB door for charging or upload so I take it in and out of the case a lot. Not hard to do but would be better if I didn't have to. There is a cutout by that area but the door won't open and close with the outer case on. Other than that it pretty much does what it says. Super great video in a sturdy little camera body! The newer 'linear' mode is the greatest! Takes a wide angle shot but straightens the image out to remove fisheye. The result is a very cool perspective.

The quality of the videos and photos are really good. Its so easy to hook it up to your phone so you’d be able to see your videos and photos in a bigger screen right away. I just love it

I use the GoPro as part of our inspection process in various conditions, which are primarily low light, derelict buildings. I knew I was buying a quality product, but I was very happy to see how well the camera picks up the sounds (speech) and the detail of the environments, especially in low light situations. Very satisfied.

This is a great camera. It's my first GoPro and it's great. I've used it underwater and it functions flawlessly. Haven't used it on the trail yet, but plan to do so soon and I'm sure that I will be equally happy.

The Gopro Hero 5 was an ultimate game CHANGER! I learned so much about long exposure, Burst Shots, time lapses than ever thought possible. I would HIGHLY recommend this camera. I even replaced it with my best buy warranty and was in and out of the store within minutes. Best buy is the best and GoPro is right along with them.

Great camera for motorcycles. Trail, track or street

I got this camera to take with me on my vacation to Ecuador. It was easy to carry and took great pictures and movies. I used it while climbing a volcano, zip lining, hiking and partying. It is easy to use. I love it.

I was skeptical about my GoPro purchase. After reviewing similar cameras (Hero6, Sony), I definitely made the right choice with the Hero5. I bought it for a trip to Hawaii. The floating stick and super suit (both optional accessories) worked perfectly for snorkeling. I captured some awesome videos that I can't stop watching. The helmet strap/head mount (optional accessory) worked perfectly for ziplining (zipline helmets had secure clips for the strap). I also purchased an additional battery and a charging combo (portable charger with additional battery) and had three batteries ready to go. Overall, I am very happy and would definitely buy the Hero5 again. Also, awesome help from Best Buy rep.

Slight learning curve going to this one after having had the Hero 3 silver, pretty user friendly though. The voice control was a little disappointing, it seems to only work half the time even when it is a foot away from me and I'm saying the same command. Picture quality is excellent, I got badass pics the first time I used it.

Much easier to navigate and use the camera. It seems that the quality of the videos and photos are mostly the same but getting around the camera settings and general use is much easier with this latest hardware update.

This camera is so easy to use and produces crystal clear movies even if they are full of action shots and movements!
