Omg love at first site. This GoPro 5 is above & beyond. I love that it's touch screen. Once, u play w/ it it's easy to function. Water proof is huge w/o case.

Love that you can see the pics on this model. It was a gift to our daughter and son in law for their honeymoon. Underwater photos and stills from the Dominican Republic, photos of them underwater, they enjoyed it and we loved the pics they shared. We have an older model without a screen to see the photos. Go Go Pro.

The quality of the video is great. I love having the touch screen on this one. Makes things a whole lot easier. Still playing around with it to figure it all out, but so far, it has provided me with great footage.

This go pro was everything I expected. Definitely enjoyed using underwater without any waterproof case. Pictures are great quality and there are several apps you can download for editing and more features.

This little thing is slick. Extremely easy to use and captures amazing images. I've traveled all over with this camera and love that I can pack it with accessories and still have plenty of other room in my bag.

This was a great investment, Takes amazing quality pics. Easy to use with many features. It downloads to your phone to clear memory for more recording. One button control is very easy to use

This is the best GoPro yet. I love the screen so you can see what you are filming. Easy to use and produces really good videos. I love how it is waterproof right out of the box. Definitely worth the money!

Bought this and used it tons, until unfortunately lost it in river (no float on it sadly), and it always worked awesome. Great improvement to my older ones, with having the screen built in and the battery life is far superior to previous models.

Easy to use Gopro. Quality pictures and videos. Although I did have some problems connecting my camera to my phone sometimes, overall the app along with the camera works well. The capture app is so easy to use.

First off this has same video quality as a Hero 4 black. It's very convenient to not have a case to protect this from shallow water and the other added features make this an awesome camera. Toe to toe with my Hero 4 black they perform similar. However there are a few cons I've encountered so be aware. 1) Lens can still fog up which is a royal pain since you can't add antifog inserts. Your tasked with either putting it in the super suit or taking off the lens cover which exposes the lens to being damaged. Note that I've only had this happen 3 times and I live in Hawaii so I'm always wet and humid year round. 2) The wifi drops off quite frequently of your around home wifi. Also you don't have control over the wifi name like you do on the 3/4 models. 3) If the battery isn't inserted correctly (I assume) than you might end up with a dead camera when the time comes to use it. Happened to me and another friend. Just take an extra moment to ensure the battery is seated correctly. 4) it's a new age camera so all those cases and lenses are useless now. Plus is all adapters/ connectors still work.

Used this for the first time this weekend SCUBA diving at Catalina. Worked to perfection. Used photo burst mode while entering water from a boat, and took video at 100' (With Super Suit). Both were outstanding.

The camera is very good in action . It is very steady. I used it for my Zipline in Catalina. It worked great.

My wife and I bought this for our trip to Hawaii. It is incredibly easy to use and takes stunning video and pictures as well. We used it under water when we were snorkeling and the videos came out great.

This is my first Go Pro. I Got it for a family vacation to Hawaii and absolutely love it. It was easy to use and did everything we wanted it to do. Amazing picture quality and fun new apps to use with it.

This is my first go pro and it is awesome. The fact it's waterproof and doesn't need a separate case that I'll probably not have with me when I need it is perfect. Video is super clear. Love everything about it

Video quality is Go Pro excellent, ease of use, batteries aren't interchangeable of course, however sound quality is junk since the waterproofing without case but dang sounds like your holding your nose and yelling. Though for underwater and action video still can't beat it just use something else to capture audio.

I have had other Go Pros in the past and this is my favorite to date. The only thing that is a bummer is you can not rename it. So if you have multiple Go Pros you have to memorize the 12 digit number when switching through them in the app. The voice recognition is fantastic. For example you can start and stop recordings with a simple voice command so you no loner have to wade through long clips that were left rolling while you get set up. The image stabilization is pretty good too. The waterproof feature with out an extra housing is really nice too as it cuts down on a little weight and makes it easier to work with. I take my Go Pros fishing and kayaking often and this version really fits the bill.

I brought one to take video but use it more for photos being able to take it anywhere and mostly in water too. It's simple to use and uploading content and the included water resistant case is awesome.

I love the Voice Command option. This is convenient when it works, however if you are in a noisy environment it may be difficult to recognize, also could be awkward when you are yelling "GoPro TAKE A PHOTO!" with people around :). I honestly did not see a HUGE difference in cinematic quality in the Hero5 vs our Hero3+. Another complaint I have is that while it is advertised to be waterproof, which it is indeed, the exterior can be easily roughed up. I am worried about my screen, but so far, so good. There is a SuperSuit case you can buy for a steep $49, actually made for deep sea diving, but no other hard-shell case option which I wish they made. However doing this step for protection also takes away from the big point, which is trying to improve the audio quality without a case on, ie: Being in the ocean & being able to hear what you are saying. Overall, I would recommend this product, just for the fact that it does have voice command for those hands-free situations and the peace of mind that you don't have to worry if it falls in water, gets rained on, etc.
