Its a good camera and I like it. The Session's design is essentially unchanged from the original. It's waterproof. It turns on and records with a single button press. And its battery is still built in.

I really, really love my new GoPro Hero5 Black. We used it at Disneyland over the weekend and were so happy with our purchase. Make sure you buy extra batteries as ours ran out and were left without a GoPro by 3pm. :( Otherwise, it is amazing and very user friendly. Be prepared to by a ton of amazing accessories.

I had always wanted to get a GoPro and when my trip to Hawaii along with a price drop of $50 came along, I found an opportune time to buy. To be honest at first I didn't use it much at home. My boys used it more to record videos and post to YouTube. I honestly thought about returning it after my trip BUT that was before I ever really tried to use it. Bottom line: I love my GoPro and used it so much for the trip. It is better than lugging around a huge DSLR camera or a video camera to do what the GoPro does. Plus with the added feature of being rugged and water proof up to 33m (which I did take advantage of) it was a very handy and convenient tool. I am definitely a fan and can't wait to use it next.

Debated for a while about getting a GoPro and if I should get the 5 or just go with the cheaper 4. I love the 5 and am happy with the case-less waterproof feature and the steadiness of the pictures.

It takes some getting used to but once you get the hang of it..it is great. It is small and compact and fits anywhere. The only thing is the battery life. The battery drains pretty quickly.

The video quality is amazing! The first time we used this was in Big Sky, MT. We went downhill skiing (up to 60mph) the video came out fantastic. Love that you can tell gopro what to do by voice command.

This is a great GoPro. If you have a Hero3 or older, this is worth the upgrade. If you have a GoPro4, it doesn't have too much. I really wanted more GPS integration, however all it does is stamp location. I wanted GPS info on videos, no luck. Overall, battery is yet again, new. Not GP4 batteries. Camera is as good as GP4 but with image stabilization now. Quality isn't better than the 4 though. Performance is great. On screen menu is better on the 5 than the 4. Overall, buy if you don't have a GP4. If you have a 4, wait for the price drop, you are not missing much.

I am really happy with the new GoPro 5. It takes great pictures and video. Being able to take it directly from box to the water is a great feature. The included video screen on back works wonderfully.

This has replaced two separate cameras. Both my still camera and my camcorder. Use it with the optional Suction Cup mount all the time and have even started using it as a Dash Cam using the supplied mounts.

Use this camera for skydiving takes amazing videos!!! No issues with the camera whatsoever the only downside is the battery doesn’t last a long time so you might want to have a spare.

If you do any sports or anything that can require filming then this is the best camera you can get! The video quality is amazing and the camera is lightweight and small so it's just overall perfect.

I already had the pro4 black but decided to pick this one up because of the convenience of the screen. It uses the battery a bit faster but not too bad. Picture quality is great, really love this camera.

I got the new go pro it is pretty cool. It films in hi def and it does still phpltographs as well. I also got the dual battery charger and extra memory cards for me camera so i always have an extra battery charged up and ready to go. It works great with the chest mount for recording work, or hiking on a day off.

I am coming from a GoPro Hero 3+ and a Hero Session. I really like how this hero 5 has the quality of the black models, the screen of the silver, and the ease of use of the session. It's a great camera.

For a compact, water proof video/photo camera with 4K quality, this is definitely the way to go! Bought this for a recent vacation and brought it everywhere I went. Would highly recommend

I bought it for a sailing trip around the British Virgin Islands. We got amazing underwater pictures as well as action videos of people jumping off the boat. I was so disappointed when the door that covers the charging port came off. When we got back I googled and found out it can easily be put back on

Love this little camera. So small and easy to use, it now goes everywhere with me. Putting together a video can be time consuming and shooting at 4K takes a lot of storage space and battery power.
