I originally purchased one of these for an 8 day vacation to Belize. That's all I've used them for so far so I can only comment on that. I knew there'd be tons of adventure and I wanted it on camera. During my trip preparation, I was so impressed with the quality of this camera I bought another one. I don't regret it one bit. The video footage is absolutely stunning. I recorded everything using the 2k setting and watching the videos back makes me feel like I'm back in the middle of the jungle. These things held up very well when exposed to torrential rain, diving in the carribean, cave exploring, kayaking, you name it. Definitely recommend and will never vacation without them again.

I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of the GoPro Hero5. It has amazing video quality and the ability to shoot in 4K. The only con I have is the battery power, it only lasts two hours.

This is a great camera. Battery life is way better than my Hero 3 and being waterproof without a case is very nice. The problem is the sound. If you take the USB door off, the sound becomes muffled. If you put it in the Karma Grip, it is even worse. To the point that I took it back. If you do not plan on using a Karma Grip with it or taking off the USB cover, the sound is fine.. Or if you just want it for video and do not care about the sound, it's great! Also, the built in digital stabilization is not that great.

This camera is excellent! Way better than the previous ones. 4k video is stunning. Love the fact that it's waterproof without a case unless your going really deep. Then you'll need the deep water case.

Great size and nice quality over all. This is my first GoPro, so if this will be your first. Make sure to watch some YouTube Video cuZ it really helpful on using the GoPro, some tips, tricks, and how to enhance your recording or selfy. And exspecting to spend additional $200 for GoPro accessory.

The Hero 5 is by far the best action camera you can buy. The 13MP photos and the 4K video look stunning, and the voice commands are really a super plus that differentiates from the competition.

I love my camera photo and video images. You cant tell that i am walking with the camera when iam recording. The images are so clear. It's so small i can take it anywhere without it taking up space.

This is my first GoPro and I absolutely love it, the camera hasn't had any issues since I purchased it. It is very user friendly, the footage is great, pictures are great. Overall I'm very satisfied.

Awesome product but heats up fast and battery life drains quick

The GoPro hero 5 takes stunning videos! Perfect for any trip! Works very well even in rain and wind. Works very well under water in conjunction with the supersuit. I would definitely recommend!

We had prior generations of the GoPro and all were fine, but we wanted to update. The Hero5 is much easier to use. Voice command is great. Picture quality is much improved. Very pleased overall.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend who was deployed. The GoPro is awesome for him to capture all his adventures since he recently got into scuba diving. He absolutely loves it!

The camera is great for an action camera, I have the previous version which can be difficult to navigate starting out. But with the voice commands it make it so much easier to use than the hero 4

I've upgraded from my 2 year old Hero 4 Black and I have to say.... this was WELL worth the upgrade. The Hero 5 is waterproof right out of the box. This is a huge improvement, especially where audio is concerned. No more housing to work with. It's nice having clear audio track instead of the squeaking and popping of that housing. The voice command feature is nice, but it doesn't work for me when I'm fishing on the kayak. Too noisy. Instead, I pair it to my old smart remote and it works great. Another new feature is the GPS. It's pretty cool to have the GPS info overlaid on my video tracks. Very nice feature that works only in the Quik GoPro software. I'm very happy with the hero 5.

This GoPro5 is a great toy and will suitable for all activities. You will love the 4K video shot and without the housing, your Gopro can also go in the water. If you can afford this, go get one.

I love the GoPro! It takes amazing photos, great video, very light and easy to use. I wish there was a way to charge the camera without having to take the casing off, but besides that I love it.

Go pro always makes a good product but I like how they eased off the price 100 bucks and still gave a great quality camera. I use it to film my atv rides and it's easy to use and crystal clear.

This camera recorded well, but was unsure the first time if it was recording. Buy an extra battery

I bought this camera to replace the previous version which was having bluetooth connectivity issues. I really enjoyed that one and enjoy this one also. I like that it is touch screen and I can immediately see pics vs having o use the app with the older version. I hope it continues to work well.
