The Hero5 Black will surprise you with it easy to use functions and small compact design. Great pictures. The sound could use some upgrade. Overall a great buy!

This gopro is great, the picture quality is terrific and it's easy to upload to my smartphone and computer. I take it everywhere.

Use mine for hiking, camping, mountain climbing and kayaking. It is waterproof and durable. Works well. Battery life is not great, but can be adjusted through various settings.

Once you learn quickly how to use it is a great camera for land or water use. Easy to shoot and play back. Easy to load to ones computer. Great quality images. Also shoots photos.

The GoPro camera is the best on the market in my opinion. Very easy to use. Good battery life. Great overall camera. My son has made several vacation videos from the footage.

I've had the whole line of GoPros starting with the first Hero. I generally skip one version because the improvements are so slight that it does not seem worth the money. So my last version was Hero3+Black. I'm not seeing a lot improvement here other than ease of use. The touch screen make set ups a lot quicker and more intuitive. Not having an extra case is nice but not a whole lot better because you still have to put in a shell to mount it on anything. And, without the case it seems like the lens is going to get scratched or cracked more easily. Note that you can only charge it with the new USB 3, so all your old cables won't work. I also worry about the durability of the two waterproof doors that you have to open every time you want to charge it or take out the memory card. Whereas the waterproof case was easily replaceable, I'm not sure about these. I'll reserve some judgement until I see how well it works with their new drone and hand held gimbal

I use this product for business and other uses . it works great and excellent quality . i would have liked the battery to last longer . Also i wish the 3 way had selfie botton .

You could spend thousands on a camera body, 3 lenses, a video cam, carry bags and tripods . . . or $250 for this decent camera for sports or even the family outing. With 4k, 2k, 1080p, 720p and 12MP for snapshots, burst and time lapse, wifi. bluetooth, $20 batteries and accessories galore. Carry it in your pocket! Drop it in the water. (Buy the float skin or handle, though.) The only problem I've encountered is "downloading" your footage off the camera. USB 3 connections are a better mode. If you're shooting all day and collecting 5 GB video files, it's going to take a while. But it's worth it! Connect up, go to bed and it'll be ready in the a.m. For the latest greatest, check out the Hero 6 with more improvements. But if you just want a quick solution to high quality footage at a budget price in one package that does both mediums (actually 3! The audio is nice also.) GoPro.

I bought this for my summer road trip in August, and have been getting used to it over the last couple of weeks. It's user friendly, and the quality of the video is fabulous.

Exchanged a Vivitar 4K camera for this due to issues on the cheap Vivitar cameras. GoPro does an amazing job with their product. The design is beautiful, the software works great, their mobile apps actually work. Everything about it is just great. Totally recommend.

I had seen video and heard stories about how great the Go Pro Hero 5 Black camera is, but what I got from my very first shots far exceeded my expectations! This tiny camera is amazing! It delivers the clearest and sharpest pictures and video I've ever seen from a consumer level device. And that's not even using the built-in 4K capability. At 1080 resolution it is simply brilliant. I though the price was a bit high until I got a chance to see the results. Now I think it was a total bargain. We are going on a Caribbean cruise later this year and will use it to capture video while snorkeling. We can hardly wait to see the video we get!

This is a great Camara for recoding videos at 4k battery only last like an hour and 15 min in 4k mode so it's recommended to buy an extra battery for it but it's a great product

There are so many other cheaper options out there, but this camera is the standard for a reason. Excellent picture and color, easy to use, and a multitude of mounting options.

The GoPro is a great product. We were able to use it for work, video and record, then show video to others. It is small, compact, easy to use, easy to store. Great product!

This camera exceed my expectations has great quality, is very fast and it's great that doesn't need an extra accessories to be water resistant, the batterie is also great!!

The sound and picture quality is amazing. The sound was clear even when i was on a windy beach and boat! Touch screen small, but very responsive. Very small and easy to carry.

Great picture quality and easy mounting, terrible access to charge and SD Card port. Started out in German and took a while to fix after googling...need better instructions
