I chose to buy this product several months ago when I first heard about it. I have been a big fan of GoPro's products for years now and decided that I wanted to get my perfect middle child the Hero5 for Christmas. He has used it for several things in the past week since Christmas and is already enjoying it immensely. It's simplistic yet sleek design allows any user to be able to figure out how to use it in seconds. The hero5's picture is the best of any GoPro and a true testament to the positive evolution of the camera industry. I would highly recommend this buy!

Very good product. the only thing I worried about was the battery, but nothing bad happened yet. It's easy to carry and quick to use. Pretty cool.

Our first one overheated and wouldn't charge. Best Buy replaced it with no questions asked. Really cool little gadget! Takes great pictures and videos.

I am super impressed with the picture quality of this camera. Love that it's waterproof without having a separate case, and can be run from my phone.

This is my 2nd GoPro Camera. I love the fact that it has a built in screen and is very intuitive. The 4K footage is awesome! I love this camera.

took this baby to puerto rico vacatin and took tons of pics and videos. The quality of both is superior. The voice commend for both photo and videos works well. only thing I found the touch monitor somewhat small. Battery life is fair.

As a first time Go Pro user, I was nervous to use it but I found it very easy to use. Took it to snorkling and the pictures came out wonderful.

This is a great multifunction camera with many nice features. The compact size and water proof feature make it a great camera for outdoor activities.

Haven't really used it for a review but from what I have done it's great. The case is derable picture comes out clear. Small and easy to carry around.

The best of all Go Pros. It is very easy to use. The Apps are very helpfull and User friendly. I like the casing you will not think it's waterproof.

When you buy the GoPro you know what you are getting. A great camera that takes amazing photos and videos. I only wish that it could zoom even if done through the editing. I AM deducting one star because the apps are a bit difficult to use

I have had this camera for over 2 years now. It’s size allows me to take it with me wherever I wish (concerts, sporting events, traveling, etc). I’ve taken it on family vacations to the beach, and just recently an indoor water park. I’ve been in the ocean with it for hours and it never once malfunctioned, nor did it malfunction when i took it down the water slides and into the wave pool this past weekend. It always produces great memories for me and my family, especially with the wide angle capability.

Love this!! And it's so easy to use! It is amazing and the picture is fantastic! Even have my dogswearing the GoPro! Can't wait to get on my Seado!!

I was leery of the quality of a GoPro but wanted something for action and underwater pictures. I am extremely impressed great camera and easy to use!

Great action cam! Can't go wrong with a gopro! I cycle,swim,hike and just take casual photos. The quality is grear and it fits right in your pocket!

I purchased this Hero 5 after being told by the Best Buy staff that it would work with the 3DR Solo that I was also purchasing at the time. Turns out, not so much. I did some research and learned that most of the drones on the market now, that have any kind of mounting and interface with the GoPro cameras will only work with the Hero 4 or older. I gave the Hero 5 three stars (it's okay) simply because I know how well the camera works, which is actually kind of great. But, not higher, because it's a lot of money to spend on a camera that a) has so many clones out there that you can buy for much less, and b) the 5 won't work with any of my many, many drones.

Very fun dependable waterproof camera. We use it surfing, snowboarding, boating and jet skiing. Easy to use and love the touchscreen
