The Hero5 is an amazing little camera, easy to use with great picture. It would be nice if they included detailed instructions with the camera.

Perfect for fishing, great quality and easy to use. Not much of an editor or super picky about specifics but so far I like it a lot.

This was a gift for our son who lives in Florida. He is very active and he love it! He said it was easy to use and the picture quality is great.

This is my third GoPro and easily the best of the bunch. The video is amazing. It's easy to use. And the battery life is even better. A must buy.

I just bought the Go Pro 5 and took it to Kona, Hawaii to record underwater snorkeling. The camera was easy to use and does a pretty good job for what it is, a small action camera. While I am still learning the camera I did notice it's limitations. Again, it is what it is, a small camera. Being small you need to be aware of small movements that make your recording jerky when viewing it later. I hope they develop a camera with a zoom, that would be an awesome addition. I also bought a special snorkeling filter. I was told it would cutout any blue haze. It sure did, it turned everything orange. Only used it one day, not again. All in all it's a fun little camera and as I learn to use it more skillfully the final product will get better, too. My rating should reflect 4 1/2 stars, very good.

This camera is a marvel. Easy to use and the pictures are first class. I would definitely purchase this again & recommend it to my friends.

I am looking forward to receiving this product after much review. Its easy to use and I love that it is waterproof and doesnt require a case. Its also light and virtually undestructable (especially if you have kids). Highly recommend.

It's a nice camera but it's way too expensive. I think GoPro is getting too out of control and not in touch with reality. The features were nice but they weren't superb. It doesn't even come with a memory card which is ridiculous for the kind of money you're paying. I've had a GoPro Hero 3 for the last few years. And other than the cell phone app, which does not work that well, there really isn't that much difference. Yes it does have 4K. But that's about it. In five years in development they should have learn to make it cheaper. There are so many other Alternatives now for less than half the price. I think GoPro needs to drop their pricing a lot.

I'd read up on the product well because of its' expensive price point and claims, before purchase. At first the unit worked fine until I offloaded my First Yakes of both photo and video. Then, the unit began locking up and giving me SD Card Error. I went to the GoPro website support forum and learned I was using the right microSD card and that many others were having the same issue, even having to remove the battery to get the unit unlocked. I returned the unit to Best Buy and continuing to monitor the website forum to see if this gets resolved before I'll make another purchase. As always, Best Buy is my favorite electronics store and obliged the return without question. Can't say a lot for GoPro (since the previous model, the Hero 4 Silver, did the same thing) but I can give 5 Stars to. Best Buy !!

I just bought it a week ago, and it's so awesome! The touch screen is very easy to use, the one-click record button really does help.

Better quality image than previous model. Has voice control, higher frame rate. I use it for video tapping my woodworking while I'm in my shop.

Nice feature where you can actually see real time what you are videotaping. I used it for my trip to NZ and to the Galapagos and Ecuador! Easy to use and nice that it is water-proof for snorkeling or wet adventures!

Great for vacations and it comes water resistant now. I've been using it in for snowboarding lately and the picture quality comes out great.
