Its fully charged battery last only for an hour so it's good for short events but not reliable for longer ones. You always have to buy a spare battery. The picture is quality and my husband liked it.

Bought this little camera to record skiing footage. I was wow'd with how well this little camera performed. It is very rugged and sturdy. It took many beatings and still looked new when I was done. The image stabilization pleased me. I got excellent video with a lot of movement on the hills. But most of all I am truly pleased with the 4K quality of my video. It is lifelike. It looks like the real thing when I play it back on my 4K TV. Best money spent for this level of result.

4K video, 3 mics, voice control, water resistant without special case, this is exactly want I always wanted from GoPro

This is my first gopro. Still learning a lot but I am very pleased with it so far. Easy to use. Great video quality.

The voice commands are great. Add that with the fact that it's waterproof (without a case), makes it a must buy!

Those only downfall would be the battery life, but that has to be the result of having the photo quality it does and having it connected to phone... Great addition to camping trips

This new addition to the GoPro family of cameras is simply terrific. From the voice activated commands, to being waterproof without a case, improved sound quality, and linear resolution (less of the fish-eye lens look), new apps that do a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to editing, just to name a few features, this is well worth the $399. Buy it and start creating memories!!!

Advanced features and great 4k video quality, the underwater depth is a plus, as well as the easy access ability.

Was pretty easy to start using right away....worked well for pictures on our travels and in various conditions.

I didn't buy the GoPro Hero5 for action video. A friend of mine knows that I'm not involved in active sports, etc, asked why in the world I bought a video that was designed for taking video of active sports. I bought it because I wanted something small that would give high quality video whether I had it strapped to my body or sitting still on a tripod. The GoPro Hero5 gives high quality video in both situations and is easy to operate. A great purchase overall.
