My daughter was fortunate enough to be gifted one of these for her birthday from her grandma, as she really wanted it. I don't use it, but I watch her use it. It links up to her iPhone wirelessly, transferring data without having hook up cables etc. This GoPro5 is waterproof, it doesn't look like the previous GoPros that have the clear plastic housing which I understood to mean it was waterproof. So this is waterproof, it just doesn't necessarily look like it is.

Very easy to use and the quality is amazing! Highly recommend for those looking for a good camera to film with.

I don't know why i waited so long to buy one , best investment , you can take it EVERYWHERE and shooting 4K is beautiful , love my go pro .. all i can say is .. what are you waiting for . .

Recently purchased this camera for a trip to the Virgin Islands. Went snorkeling multiple times every day for a week. The battery life was good, I had no problems with the lense fogging or anything else. I shot hours of videos and still photos and couldn't have been happier with the way it all turned out. I barely even reviewed the manual as everything is fairly intuitive with the camera. A few minutes playing with the camera settings and you are ready to go.

This is my first gopro so i can not compare how much better is is then previous models. Mine came with a voice activated remote which is real nice. You can use a smart phone as a remote and also see what the gopro sees which is another nice feature. It takes real good pictures and video. I recommend additional batteries if you are going to use it a lot.

The quality is better than I excepted! I love it and it's so easy to use. Great motion capture that is clear!

Upgraded from Hero 3+ Black. The Hero 5 has nicer features, screen and voice control. Easier to turn off and on.

Me, the wife and 2 kids are always outdoors. It's odd that we didn't have a camera like this until now. We love how easy it is to record and share video content. The quality is amazing. With that being said, take note the one negative if you see it that way. The video files are HUGE so make sure you prepare for storage. However big you think they might be, multiply that by 10. I'm talking 1 GB for 2-3 minutes of video! Still love it and couldn't be happier.

Great camera, waterproof is the best features along with 4K video, amazing camera for outdoors and sports.

I bought this for my trip to Oahu last summer. I knew I was gonna surf and so I wanted to record some shots inside the waves. Audio needs some work but overall, great action camera
