Ive had all of the GoPros and this one is a great step forward. I wasnt going to get one but then I needed to be able to preview 2.7k live while recording and this Hero 5 does just that. The image stabilization is fantastic. I just wish they wouldnt keep changing the battery style and they also stopped the 30 pin plug on the back, but thats what you lose for having a built in touch screen monitor

In my honest opinion this camera is great and well worth the money ! It is the first GoPro I have ever purchased, but I immediately fell in love with it and all it's features. All the different recording options and the fact that it's water proof after a couples months of use I can definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a compact camera they can take anywhere and record anything.

Camera well worth the money takes great video quality is amazing. Only down fall is battery doesn't last long so I went ahead and bought an extra battery

Great 1080p action shots at high fps. Pretty 4K at 30fps. Software is just ok and the way it cuts longer files into 12 minute sections is just dumb. G

I bought this for gift for a friend. He uses it often on his outdoorsy activities. He use to use his old phone to record things and had a hard time trying to tell what was going on in the videos. But now that he has had this, I get some great videos and see everything he's recording. Mostly things like RC planes and helis where you need a good camera.
