The nickname "CompetelyDisappointed" was in regards to the Karma Grip. I still am completely disappointed with the Karma. In fairness, though, I have to say that the Hero5 that I bought to interface with the Karma (that stinks) is amazing. I would recommend it to a friend. But not the Karma. Don't buy that. Buy the Hero5 for sure.

Great pictures from such a small camera. I used it in the water for both pictures and video, with good results. Beware this camera does not do well in low lit areas. If It seems dark the is probably not enough light for a good picture. I only wish it had zoom capabilities so I could do with out the dslr. It is very good for landscapes.

I love my new gopro hero 5. very easy to use and with 4K video, you can just upload it directly if you have youtube channel.

The GoPro 5 is pretty definitely the best GoPro there is right now. The touch screen is very convenient for clearing space in the memory card on the go, make changes to settings, etc. The voice control feature is another great addition especially when you're trying to take selfies and can't reach the buttons. However, the GoPro is very fragile and if you drop it, chances are you will chip/damage the lens part since that part sticks out. That's the only complaint I really have about the GoPro 5.

Fun camera, easy to use, takes great underwater pics!

I have the hero 4 and it works really well. Only thing was that I couldn't see what I was recording or taking photos of. So I went and bought the hero 5. Works great, and doesn't need a case for it to be waterproof. Only thing is the screen is a little hard to work when wet or or under water. Other than that, it's a great camera.

I wondered about buying the hero 5 vs 6. Whatever the hero 6 might have had, I don’t miss it. This camera is super. We used it for several hundred underwater photos and many underwater videos within 2 weeks of purchase and couldn’t be more pleased. Easy to set up, easy to use and easy to access photos when done.

I used my new Gopro Hero5 Black 4k camera on a road with 318 turns in only 11 miles, Tail of the Dragon. What a great way to be able to re-live the drive through this awesome mountain roadway in both North Carolina and Tennessee. Watching what I had recorded as I drove the road on my 4K TV almost made me woozy! The camera is outstanding!

I used this GoPro camera along with the gopro suction mount on top of my car and made a 2 minute video of a gated community I sell in. This camera is rather sophisticated and takes practice to use it effectively so be patient with the learning curve. If you do, you will be well rewarded! Best GoPro yet! Love the phone connectivity and touch LCD screen. Take into consideration that my last one was a Hero 2.

Great improvements and easy to use. Quality is top tier

Everyone knows the gopro is awesome, but they just continue to get better. I've always borrowed one from a family member, but after playing with this one, I had to have it. Waterproof with no housing, all the controls right there on the touch screen, 4k resolution, up to 80 FPS, and pretty good battery life.... it's the best one yet!
