This is the first GoPro that I have ever bought and I am very satisfied with my purchase. I am very into tournament bass fishing and this camera has been great to capture my fish catches, and share with my fans and sponsors! Definitely a great camera and I would definitely recommend getting one for yourself.

Overall it's a good camera. I was expecting more from it, but it's not a bad cam. Maybe a bit overpriced.

The gopro hero5 is very easy to use compact good beginner camera wish the battery lasted a little longer

This thing is awesome and super easy to use. Love that is already has a protective case and rear screen.

I was hesitant to purchase since I already own Gopro 3 black. But I'm glad I did. The biggest advantage to this camera is the screen on the back allowing you to see and review your footage in real time. The sound is also drastically improved during video playback. This camera will not disappoint.

Decided to buy this before we we're off to Floria. I decided being that this is my five year old boys first trip I wanted to make sure I get as much photos and videos as I could, and what better way then to use a gopro. The trip was a success and the photos were a masterpiece. Couldn't be happier.

Having a screen, no need for the case, all positives. Haven't tried 4k since I don't have 4k tv. One knock, the battery life stinks if you have the bells and whistles active. GPS, voice commands, Bluetooth, all drain the heck out of it, as does the screen brightness. Turned it down to 12%, which is good enough in Dark spaces, but you can't see when outdoors in sunlight. That said, there isn't a more convenient and versatile camera on the market.

camera seems to be very intuitive and easy to use in basic modes. great picture. apps very user friendly.

I was a bit dismayed that the new GoPro came out a week later and I was unaware that it was coming out.

This GoPro is a must have. Love everything about it and it has worked great! Super easy to use and displays very nice images. Got the camera in store and the man helping me displayed a great deal of knowledge with the product and directed me towards other options if I wanted and gave honest feedback.

Nice to have a GoPro that is waterproof without a case. But the covers for the USB port, and Memory card are so hard to open, you have to find a sharp object like a knife or something to open. One cover broke the first day i was using the GoPro when I tried too open it to change batteries. You would think they would actually test the use and functionality of their product. The covers are super hard to open to charge or replace the memory stick.

Love my new GoPro! This is my first one and hopefully my last. It works great and takes great footage.

This Camera Is the Bomb! Wide angle setting gets the whole story, with both Video and Stills. Time lapse is easy and fun. Always gets the focus sharp as a knife! Get a second battery with the charger for never ending Capture. Software is great for editing. Can't wait to use this camera for Music venues.

I purchased this for my boyfriend as a birthday gift! We took it with us on our vacation and used if for everything! We captured videos of us ziplining, hiking and row boating! It has amazing picture quality and we also used it for the majority of the pictures we took on vacation! Overall, awesome buy!

We my wife and I purchased this for our Son-in law to video our grandsons playing football. These will be sent to Colleges for scholarship opportunities.

use this all the time I go snorkeling and hiking and skiing. it is compact and takes quality pictures.

So many features that enable several creative points of views

Used mainly for mountain biking. I got it for fun. It’s cool. Download the videos straight to my phone and share the videos. There’s nothing else out there that’s as user friendly like these gopros. I don’t have a PC or laptop and do everything through my phone on the app.

Found this camera to work great for action videos of my child. Don't waste your time taking photos unless it's of scenery or still objects on a tripod. Just grab the photos from the video you take. You'll always get the best one. Also don't record over 1080 @30fps unless your computer can handle it.
