It's great to have a viewing screen on the back with touch screen menus! That along with built in housing, stabilization, RAW photo, and improved audio got me to buy one instead of borrowing my friend's. Be aware that it uses a totally different battery from previous models.

It's a great camera and I like that GoPro is really simplifying the construction, utility, and accessories of the product. It's nice and streamlined and easy to use. My only complaint is that the micro HDMI port is still way too fragile!! We have 4 of these, and only one still has a functioning port!

Quality and options are great. Although the price is high in comparison to other brands.

I purchased this product based on previous recommendations. Took it to my Pismo trip and the battery lasted the entire trip and a few days after. Quality is great and I love the phone application. Makes it easy to see how the pic will come out and share with friends.

It is literally capable of every aspects of video recording! Nice for underwater and sports. Just battery is not that perfect and the image would be distorted if there is some water drop on front lens. Make sure clean them up after you dive. Overall, very excellent device

I gave this to my wife as a present and she loved me so much more for buying it. The go pro we take it everywhere we go an always make sure it is fully charge I can’t believe this little camera has some serious resolution clarity all 4K vision

Bought this because we were going on a cruise that also involved activities underwater. Great camera -- purchased a good sd card and a simple handheld that floats. I also like the GoPro studio that allowed me to turn our videos into a nice overall video using templates.

It's a good camera to have inside your pocket. Taking it to places with out a problem doing things active on the bike, party's, and whatever kind crazy things you do with a camera. It's better having this in your hands then a phone can break really easy if holding wrong.

I see the Go Pro images as almost all the same when you compare the models, so the image quality is not a huge factor on this product. I believe what is a huge improvement is that it is fully waterproof without the case! It is the most convenient for the microphone.

My husband been wanting to have go pro, so I decided to get him one and he loves it.

I recently visited Puerto Vallarta and I took my Gopro Hero 5,and i had to swim through a cave to get to a "secrete beach" the camera recorded everything under water so clearly I could see the fish under me. Just an amazing camera I don't regret paying the $400 dlls

This GoPro Hero 5 has went above and beyond what I was expecting. I was debating heavily on getting the hero 5 or hero 6, but when this Hero 5 went on sale it was no question. My outdoor adventures are now recorded perfectly to share with the family!

I actually purchased this goPro for my husband. We like to hike and spend a lot of time camping in the summer. I thought this would be great to capture some of these events. We are so happy with this purchase and looking forward to summer! This little camera is amazing!

Absolutely love this sports camera, its definitely great for outdoor activities even water activities without its housing, but would definitely recommend it just to be safe since camera isn't too cheap. I use it daily (driving) so for sure worth it.

I've had the GoPro black 3+ for the past few years and very satisfied with it, I made the upgrade when I found out that it no longer has the case, waterproof, drop proof right off the box and has a digital image stabilization. That's all I needed to hear and I was sold.

We bought this just before a cruise. It proformed great. The battery life was good.

i like the video quality. i only wish if it was cheaper and longer battery life.
