I bought this camera to use it during my flight lessons and it works amazing! I especially like the fact that it comes waterproof out of the box without the need of adding a case on it such as in previous models. The built in lcd is a plus too. Great action camera!!!

I was impressed with the number of different settings this small little camera provided in the high quality of footage I was able to obtain during my recent white water river rafting the experience in the Grand Canyon. It performed just as I had hoped it would.

It is much smaller than I thought it would be so my giant hands feel a bit awkward holding it. The sound quality is good while recording in a room. I have yet to take it for a ride on my motorcycle. The coordination between the app to view videos and photos on your smartphone is a bit tedious. Video quality is certainly great. In the end, I would recommend it.

GoPro have finally added most of the features that I thought they needed to add. The touch screen makes this so much better. The menu is still a bit clunky but it works great once you’re used to it. Paired with the Karma Grip, the Hero 5 is a great combination.

Great camera easy to use, need to carry 2 spare batteries, battery life drops fast

This is my first Gopro and I wish I have one last time we went to Hawaii. You can take video and get high quality still photos from it later. Keep two birds with one stone> A must have if you go snorkeling.

Great camera,but we had to upgrade our home computer to be able to do any of the editing I assume due to the high resolution of the camera. We're still learning how it works,but seems very nice,can't wait til summer to use it in the water with the kids and pool

I love this camera. The touch screen is very simple to use with a few swipes. The capture app for the phone really helps out to record videos. I also think the Quik Studio app is user friendly and pretty good for quick edits. I have no complaints. Very Good camera.

Video is awesome in 4K and even 1080 rocks. Voice activation is something pretty cool too. I use the remote mostly, range is good. I do wish there was a silent mode when it is turned on/off for wildlife photography. If animals are nervous it tends to run them off.

My first jump into the GoPro family line of action cameras ... had trouble with getting things figured out (finally found the instruction manual online). Went with the Hero 5 due to reviews about it's ease of use ... I suppose compared to the cube, this might be the easier avenue to take but I highly recommend downloading those instructions if this is your first GoPro purchase too.

This is my first action camera. It is not nearly as user friendly as I had expected. Syncing with iPhone app is buggy. Tech support folks were not very knowledgeable. The video it take is amazing. Quality and image stabilization is great. Quite impressive device for the size. Just need to work on UI and App a little.

Excellent - Would Buy Again! Great Buying Experience and Quality for the money

The camera performed well straight out of the box (after adding a memory card that was not included with the camera). The camera is easy to use and the downloaded apps support data transfer and project creation. The accessories work well although are a bit pricy.

I took this for a trip to Colorado. We spent 6 days out there and I used it in all conditions. Cold snowy weather, under water, road cycling, driving, and general film taking. The image quality is great, but the editing software can be a little confusing at first.
