I've been using a GoPro for many years. Hero3+ to be exact. I recently recorded a flight using Nflight and GoPro Hero3+ and thought, I need another camera. Well the new Hero5 with 4K capabilities was my choice. Voice commands is a plus for adventures.

Buy extra batteries because it does die fast! Overall a great camera though

I've only used this gopro on a few occasions and I'm truly amazed on the quality, performance and toughness of this camera. My only problem is with my stupid S7 Edge won't update so I can't take full advantage of using the gopro apps.

The quality is good when in good light...not super good in low light. It has stability control for 1080 but not 4K. Overall I like it quite a bit.

Replaced a hero 3+. Big step up in image quality and overall build. Solid camera. Does not run as hot as the old one did. 4K image quality is quite good considering the uniqueness of "style" provided by these types of cameras. An excellent Upgrade.

Got this for my boy who snow skis, and he used it right after the holidays. The video and picture quality is amazing - as advertised. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to record on the go.

I look at many different action cams for the last couple months and took a chance on the GoPro 5 it works well with the app battery life a little short is the only complaint i have cause if you plug it into a external battery it makes it not water proof

GoPro really did it this time. They have finally standardized their camera line, giving you only the Black edition or the Session. This makes purchasing very easy. The features on this camera are great, and much better than the SJ Cam I was using before.

Makes good quality movies and still pictures and works good under the water.

I absolutely love this GoPro! So far I've only used it for family events but it won't be long before we take it traveling and backpacking. I was on the fence for so long because I relied on my iPhone for pics and videos. Should have purchased this sooner

Its a really good camera. Pictures are good, battery lasts a decent amount. The only thing I would complain about is that sometimes it freezes and just turns black not wanting to do anything but I just hold the power button and let it reset.

This camera was exactly what I was looking for. Its compact, powerful, has plenty of options and features, but is as easy to use as a point and click. There are tons of accessories that expand the possibility uses for this camera.

Took this GoPro on my vacation on a cruise, took great footage and photos.

Probably one of the best investments I have made. So many memories I have.

Amazing camera!! But... Without the right things for it....it'll record but if you walk with it and record... It shakes a lot and when u try to watch the video it's really shakey. But it records in HQ!! I'd recommend getting the karma grip with it.

gopro without a doubt has one of the best action cameras on the market, i feel like the quality of the video is a step up from the hero3, although if you want good sound quality you have to spring for the usb-c adapter to be able to use an external mic.

Purchased this model over the normal Hero HD due the lack of functionality on the HD version. The GoPro gamble will only work on the Hero5 & Hero6 and not the HD version. Overall this camera has better features and of course its 4K
