The GoPro Hero was purchased as a gift because it is the top model. My husband has one and loves it. It is easy to use and can be used in a car dash to document a trip. We used. It with a helmet excessory to document a zip line trip. Great memories!

I use this camera for everything. I recently took it parasailing and it did an amazing job capturing the moment. Watching the video makes you feel like you're re-living the moment because of the camera quality. I would 100% recommend the GoPro Hero5!

I use this camera mostly when attached to the windshield of my motorcycle (v twin) and there's plenty of vibration. This Hero makes the video look like its buttery smooth with no hint of shake at all. I wasn't expecting it to be that good honestly.

This camera was exactly what I was looking for. I use it hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and at festivals and it works like a charm. The visibility in low light is great as well, and I love the fact that it is water proof without having to buy a case.

I bought this camera for a recent vacation with the family to Yosemite. The videos that I was able to shoot were amazing! I didn't think a little camera like this would be able to produce such clear and professional looking videos. Very pleased.

I agonized over which GoPro to get for weeks. Honestly, the quality of this one is amazing, even underwater. It's just so cool. If you're ready to spend a few hundred on a GoPro, put in a little extra and go for this one, you'll be happy you did!

Took it to Maui and it crapped out during my first snuba dive. Only got 9 minutes of video. Bummer! I tested it out the day before in the ocean a couple times and it worked fine and the video came out great afterwards. Love the voice command features and video quality. Exchanged for a new one when I got home. Hopefully this one works out. Five stars had it not broke.

I bought this for my husband for his birthday. We did Tough Mudder together and he mentioned how he would have loved to record it. Now he has it for future obstacle courses and uses it while riding his bike.

It is my third camera and will love then. I just hate having to change from one stabilizer to another, hence the third camera. The quality is at it best compares with other brand.

This is my 1st GoPro. I have always wanted one but it didn't quite have all,the specs I wanted. Now waterproof touchscreen voice activated longer battery life image stabilization. Great Camera!!

I haven't had a chance to use this GoPro much. Waiting for warmer weather to do so. But I was pleased when I set up the product. Love the touch screen and features. Love that you don't need an external case for it to be water proof although I will probably still buy once since I do some intense water sports. Loved my past gopros so I'm sure I will love this one as well.

We purchased this GoPro 5 blk last Friday, used it 3 times for snorkeling with kids on a cruise trip, by the 5th day the camera wouldn't turn on, back status red light will remain on, but camera would no turn on, we tried everything to troubleshoot. Also we noticed that the front Gray LCD had water inside it. All doors were tightly closed, no water leaked thru doors. 7 days after purchase, the same same day we arrived from our trip I took the camera to bestbuy and I was offered a replacement, I declined the GoPro 5 and took a 4 black instead, with the water protection case. The weird this is that 2 other people onboard the ship had similar water issues, even though the camera is rated to 33 feet of depth.
