The Hero5 black edition takes the best of the Hero 4 silver/black and moves a step forward. Battery life is greatly improved. The integrated touchscreen doesn't add much bulk. And the fact it can get wet right out of the box is amazing.

I really like this new Go Pro Hero 5 Black. It is simple to use and records great quality video. I would recommend watching a few You Tube Videos for best video and photo settings. Only takes a few minutes but makes a huge difference.

Use this in water air on land. Great quality and pics

Great image quality when not moving. Image stabilization is turned off in 4K mode. I understand why, just would like to maintain image stabilization throughout all image quality settings. Only issue, otherwise extremely satisfied.

This was a replacement to the go pro 3 and I love the new one.

I used this camera in Hawaii and it was great. Had a little trouble learning how to use it, but then it was fine. Gave me great underwater shots with exceptional clarity. I know it is able to put videos on a tv but I haven't done that yet. I would recommend this camera to anyone who wants to record outdoor action events or underwater activity.

I've been holding out for the Hero4 silver and jumped when the Hero5 black came out and got a decent deal (came with a 32GB card for the original price). I got it when it was first released so there were small issues but firmware updates seemed to help considerably. I still have an issue with connecting to my iPhone but expect that to be resolved soon.

We recently purchased the GoPro to take with us on our honeymoon to Alaska. We loved getting to film our adventures we went on. Bought some of the attachments to help make reckrding easier. The only complaint I have is that the battery life isn't great at all. We bought a spare battery to help, but it still was a pain that it didn't last long.

This camera rocks. We have taken it on many vacations already. The ability to take it under water has been real fun. The picture quality is amazing. The stabilizer is very important to this camera and makes filming easy. Love it

Not a lot of shake. Smooth on the intense walk. Great colors...am having fun with it. Will be taking it to Hawaii and Machu Piccu

Definitely this is the best update in the Hero line of GoPro. The touch screen allows you to dispense with using your mobile phone in order to check the frame or even the footage you just took. I had already used a Hero 4 Silver, but believe me... The Hero 5 it's from another world. Intuitive interface, the "no-case" design... it is totally amazing! The Hero 5 Black It's so handy to just grab and go to action. Without any doubt, I would recommend it a thousand times to everyone that is looking for an action camera. It's a big deal. The only thing I can say about this camera is that when you're using the case (frame), sometimes it comes a little bit difficult to scroll down the menu for activating the wifi function and the voice command switch. But anyway, the camera suits perfect.

I have used it for everything from long motorcycle rides, to long drives, and recording both of my daughters volleyball and soccer games. Even the coaches want copies of the recordings. One coach purchased one after seeing my videos.

I love the gopro hero 5 i just wish that the audio was better

Love this camera! I upgraded from a Hero 3 and I am very happy with my new purchase. I love that I can actually review my footage and see what's going on rather than taking a guess. The battery has been good so far. Great camera.

Was easier to use then I expected! Thought I would have to show my 10 yr old how to use it but he figured it out before I did! He loves it for shooting his sports tricks, sledding, and during the summer in ocean or in water slides.

Used this while zip lining in Costa Rica ... fabulous quality videos and still shots. Used the camera for taking pictures of each room of a house we're trying to sell. Was wonderful to fit whole room in the frame. Wish it was easier to find instructions on how to edit pics and vids. And how go make the file small enough to post in the web.

This camera is amazing and has amazing features. Love the fact that you don't need a waterproof case as this one is waterproof without it. Too many cool features to mention them all here. Best Buy rep will show you all the features.
