I used it for the first time on a trip to Key West. I played with it the night before my 1st use and it was easy. The included software from gopro was also easy to use after a short while.

I absolutely love my GoPro. The only thing that I would criticize is the battery life and the fact that it overheats. I used my GoPro on vacation and I was using it quite a bit for everything!

I use the GoPro Hero 5 for everything I do. I love it more than words can say. The quality video and photo are top notch and the versatility is amazing. I am considering buying a second!

Camera was user friendly and went beyond expectations. The web and app support was not expected and when I seen what was available I was kicking myself for not getting this product sooner.

I can see why this one is more pricey than the silver version. Which I purchased as well. I really like the voice activated commands so that your recording experience can be very hands off.

The GoPro Hero 5 Black is a big leap forward in picture/video clarity with great audio from the internal microphone. The built-in LCD is also a nice feature compared to the previous GoPro's.

I got this for my family after we were unable to get as many pictures as we wanted during a skiing trip. Got all of Christmas morning as well as a trip through the Caverns of VA. Great device. Get the back up battery kit with this guy as it tends to run out of juice pretty quick.

Came in for a basic GoPro walked out with the GoPro Hero5. And glad i did. Spent quite a bit more but i got way more options and quality.

This is an amazing camera. I used an earlier version of GoPro and this one is OUTSTANDING!!! I love it. Picture is amazing, the apps are great. You will not go wrong buying the GoPro hero 5.

I love this little camera. I have used it in a professional setting for a film and various other projects and it is a great little camera for quick cut to, action, and stylized shots.

I just did above, but I guess that's just not good enough for you! It's small and fits in your pocket, but for some of the older population it may be a little difficult to work with,

The video and sound quality is amazing for a small camera. The image stabilization is awesome! I have tested out some footage, and I definitely can't wait to use when I go traveling soon!!

This Go Pro is perfect for what I needed. I was looking for an action cam to mount on my motorcycle and this more than fits the need. Great picture and great stability in all conditions.

I mostly use my GoPro hero 5 for my workout videos in the gym and also for home blogs. I'm estactic at the quality videos that I've received from this camera.. I definitely recommend it!!

My first GoPro, I am glad and very satisfied with it. I definitely recommend to buy this. I bought this to shoot 4K video while I'm using my d500 for photography. Excellent combination!!!

This little camera takes amazing video. Battery life is pretty good and with just a 32 gig sdcard I get hours of footage. Looking forward to capturing many interesting and fun activities.

I like the fact I can connect it to my phone and take very easy group photos. There are also a ton of accessories. The only thing I don't like is there's no zoom. It's an action cam only.

The camera quality is truly great in the day and in the outdoors. But don’t rely on your GoPro camera for night outings unless you have a flash light attachment

Love it, that's all I can say. Zoom is probably something that will come out at some point and I'll have to upgrade then but that was known going into it so I can't fault the camera now.

I had to return my first HERO5 back to Bestbuy because the display screen was not lit up evenly. Some areas near the edges of the screen were dimmer than the other areas. After getting the 2nd one, I did not use it extensively until 2 months later for snowboarding. Afte I came back from the trip, I wasn't happy because the recorded videos would have short black gaps in between and showed the purple haze/lines horizontally across the screen. Had to return to GoPro and got the replacement for its warranty. Now it works great. Can't be any happier with the quality this thing captures. The voice command feature is one thing I use very frequently.
