I'm closing my bestbuy acct because of this cam!!!

Controls are iffy. Have to download and subscribe to an app with a $5 monthly fee to use the camera & edit the vids. Wish I saved my money and bought a drone instead.

Overall the GoPro performed as advertised! However, it overheated when charging and the camera would not turn on all day so it was pretty much a dead weight!

You'd think such an expensive waterproof camera would be a little more waterproof. Water got in the latch for the SD card, it was fully closed.

I bought go pro camera just 20 days ago and in the first week tha camera just stop working and never turn on again

PROS: 1. The 4K video recording and sound quality are amazing! 2. The build quality is industry standard. Same goes for the mounting hardware. 3. Comes with two sticky bases that are easily mounted. Just peel and stick. CONS: 1. It gets very hot while recording video or just charging, which isn't too much of a concern? 2. The battery only lasted me 38 minutes for my very first recording. 3. The charging cable is too short. I'm selecting "No" to recommending this to a friend because of the price point and the amount of heat it puts out.

** Visit GoPro's website and download the latest firmware. ** You should get in a habit for doing this with all electronics you purchase, especially GoPro's since they are good at fixing bugs and adding new features with firmware updates! After I did that, I started playing with this camera for the last week. It's a blast to film with, and with the proper settings you can really get some awesome footage! There are more advanced settings in-app, and basic settings on-cam. be sure to check out: Linear FOV Image Stabilization (if you are hand-holding this) ProTune (and respective settings)

Audio and picture quality far exceeded my expectations. Super easy to set up and use. Makes recording anything in public very fun, happy with my purchase

If you're traveling with this you'll love it. It's actually better without the LCD because you're not worrying about breaking anything or where you put it. I carried it in my pocket most of the time for a recent trip. It's low-profile so people don't even know what it is! I bought a mount for my windshield (inside) and shot lots of road video. Battery life is actually pretty great, 2+ hours and quick to re-charge. It will fill up the memory card quick however and you have to buy a special card. This is my first gopro and I'm really excited/happy about it.

Most of the features of the Hero 5 Black in a tiny session. This is a HUGE improvement over the first Session. Definitely worth the purchase.

The image stabilizer works very well and it records voice clearly. The short battery life (2hrs) however, works very well with 32gb memory cards. Need portable battery pack for longer operations. Tested the apps on both Android and iOS, for the display while recording (no lcd on the tiny action cam.

i used to have gopro hero silver but it broke after few time use, this time i went with session no LCD simple and great camera, perfect quality love it

Bought camera for the video stabilization works great for doing YouTube videos and mounted on my motorcycle.

Considering the lack of features and control available in the firmware, this camera is way overpriced. For Ex: No option to display a Time & Date stamp on the video/photo. Even the least expensive cameras have this as an option. Another example: Even when plugged into a power source, the camera will idle time out and go to sleep, turning off wireless connections (via the free app or optional remote) & rendering remote control unusable. There is no option to disable or even adjust the idle time out. This camera is priced like a feature rich point and shoot, but is engineered like a $99 knock off. Documentation and tech support are equally undeveloped and have not helped beyond what I could already figure out on my own. There is a decent community to help though. Go there first and skip the manual or tech support.

Everything started with the purchase of the most overpriced, under-performing, unreliable camera I have ever seen. Bought a Session 5 right before a 28 days cruise. The camera just wouldn't work properly at all. After reading through the sea of complains in the forums a potential reason was shown (the memory card type could be the problem). I don't know enough about hardware to fully understand the complexity behind memory cards but if it is a subject so complicated then a memory card of the "right" type should be sold with the cameras. I wanted to return the camera right away but being in a cruise I missed my return window. I took the lost of $300 and moved on deciding to never give GoPro a chance with their poorly designed cameras. Today I get an email asking for my GoPro experience feedback. Decided that providing some constructive criticism would be useful. To my surprise, the survey had absolutely nothing to do with my experience with a GoPro camera at all! The survey was full of questions regarding demographics. I was in such a disbelief that GoPro would mask a demographic data collection survey as an experience feedback survey to bait people into providing data for GoPro's marketing. Maybe if your engineering team worked as well as your marketing team then GoPro wouldn't have the massive amount of unsuccessful products (such as Karma drone) out on the market. I had already been disappointed by GoPro beyond repair but after this baiting survey, I will campaign as much as possible against your horrible products and your amazingly dirty social engineering methods of business.

This is a great camera to mount on a helmet or put on a tripod. Will definitely have fun making training videos with this.
