I should have returned before leaving on a 2 week trip. Has high hopes before a overseas trip. Right out of the box, issues started mounting up. 1. App you have to use has issues connecting, and it disconnects you from your wifi to connect to the camera. Why do I need blue tooth then? 2. Camera has problems connecting to app. Can spend 10 minutes getting it to connect. Bluetooth is connected, wifi is connected, but no camera picture or access to stored video or images. 3. Battery life. There is no battery life. Less than 1 hour from a full charge before having to connect external power (it had to be mounted on my helmet to get the video). Also will randomly disconnect. 4. Full battery the night before on a second outing we wanted it for, work for 10 minutes then battery was dead. 5. Did I mention you will spend a lot of time getting it to connect and work? There were other little things, but these ware the major issues. I would have been better off with just about anything else. This camera is unusable.

The best just got better with 4K, image stabilization and voice commands! The battery life remains amazing!

This is my first GoPro and I bought it to record 4k video at 30fps. The video quality is great! Unfortunately, after about 40 minutes of continuous recording at 4k 30fps the camera beeps and displays a message, "camera too hot shutting down." I was hoping I would be able to leave this camera unattended and trust that it would record until I turned it off. I think I will have to take this camera back to the store. It is a shame that this camera can't record long videos in 4k without overheating.

Quality of the picture was a little blurry it was slow n couldn’t keep up. Didn’t last me that long it doesn’t turn on any more.

Constantly stops recording. Records for 45 seconds only on some days and if I'm lucky it will record for 1:45. When the recording stops there isn't an audible alert so I'm thinking its recording when really is not. Today I needed it to record a 44 minute bike ride, only recorded the first 85 seconds and then stopped. Fully charged and my memory card was empty and still the same result. Will not be buying again.
