The best action camera out there. Great stabilization. Waterproof as well.

Decided to buy the GoPro Hero 6 for the honeymoon my wife and I went on to St Lucia. I was hoping that it would live up to the hype and I was definitely not disappointed. This camera, even out of the box is complete insane! When bought with the accessories you are able to capture each moment at its purest. I used the chest harness for our snorkeling excursion... and oh did I mention it is 100% waterproof even without a case? Due to how amazing this camera was at its default settings, I delved deeper into it and decided to learn about a function it has called "protune" where you adjust camera shutter speed, white balance, frame rates etc. Due to how cinematic and professional you are able to make the videos completely blew me away. I had zero experience in recording videos or even editing them, but with iMovie on MAC it made our honeymoon video, and others I started to create back at home look professional. The camera stabilization is incredible too. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone!

Getting myself a GoPro for Christmas was not the absolute best decision I have ever made but it is in the top 100! I find so many moments to capture where normally I would not even think about recording. Its size and mounting options make it a very good tool for time lapse videos. Just cleaning up my living room has become SO much more interesting.

I have not had a problem using the GoPro 6 Black. I thought it was very easy to get used to, coming from a GoPro 4. The touch screen is a nice added touch as well.

I was hesitant about buying the new GoPro, but after reading some reviews about the new stabilization I decided to go for it. I’m not disappointed at all! The stabilization is ten times better than the Hero5. To top it all off it has 4K at 60fps. It also shoots 1080 at 240fps. I definitely recommend it if you’re on the fence about getting it.

This GoPro is the latest model and is perfect for carrying around to catch awesome videos. The app that puts together the videos and pictures is amazing and so far, we love this. Waterproof, small, lots of accessories available. Only con: battery life (about 1-2 hours)

I bought this camera to take to Miami. It worked great in the water, but it did lock up on me the first time I got in the water. The controls are a bit flimsy when you carry around in a pocket they can get out of order. So I would recommend to buy a gimbal. Battery life is short and also gets hot. The software is not the best and it's very confusing for someone new to this like me.

I have wanted a GoPro for a longtime but never thought it was really worth the difference between iPhone video etc. Anyway, decided to give it a go and bought the Hero 6. I am amazed. it is so easy to use and the picture quality is outstanding. Picture quality very stable even when camera is being moved. Would recommend

The Hero 6 4k is outstanding! Easy to get setup and easier to use than my previous 3 GoPro's. The touchscreen makes all the difference! Battery life could be better, so grab an extra. I love that its water proof to 10m without an additional housing.

I bought this to try out to see if I could replace my aging hero 4 black. this camera has awesome stabilization and I no longer feel the need for a gimbal. The audio is not great but I knew that getting it. If I need clean audio I will use an external mic setup. But for on the go shots, this fits the bill and lightens the load. I purchased it first day after release, I am hero 3/4/5 black user. Except 4k 60fps, it is exactly same as hero 5. However, it got worse built quality. I can find trace of glue on body. The price increased $100 to $499.99 compare to hero 5 at its original release price. Do you think it really worth $100 for the 4k 60 fps video? I don't know, but I'm sure gopro is losing its leadership position in the market. So, buy it if it's on sale.

After a few adjustments and learning this new beast it is definitely better than the Hero 5. Out the box I believe the Hero 5 takes a better true to color picture. If you don’t do a lot of editing and coloring changing and correcting the Hero 5 will continue to suit your need. If you are into extreme slow motion and 4K this is definitely the better camera. The sound sucks but with a added mic it becomes great but loses its small size and water proofing. Still the best picture and stabilization in the class. It tends to freeze every now and then but I’m sure a new firmware will provide a quick fix. Don’t hesitate just buy it.

Purchased my camera just before a cruise. I do own a Hero 4 Black, and this camera is much easier and user friendly than the 4 Black model. I really appreciate the built in rear display. The menu settings are easier to adjust and change. I have an iPhone 10 and iPad Pro and it works seemlessly with either device. Not all, but several accessories from the 4 Black are usable with this camera. The low light capture is better than the 4 as well. The video it captures on 1080 and 4K HD are great. I can not compare the low light or HD image video performance with other brands as GoPro is all I have used for the past several years. I have used it in a swimming pool and had no issues at all. If you are looking for a small compact camera that’s easy to pack and carry, the GoPro Hero 6 just may be what you’re looking for.
