Upgraded from the Hero 5 Black, only thing I don’t like is that the lens isn’t interchangeable( Can’t remove it, so you need to exercise caution). Plus no removable battery so you either bring a battery bank or limit your use. Overall though, it is an excellent choice for quality in the price range!

This is a great camera for kids. I have an eight-year-old son who likes making YouTube videos. It is very small and easy for him to use. It works well under water as we have used it snorkeling. It’s a little pricey for a kids camera but it has held up well.

Pretty dang cool!!! It is lightweight and durable. I’m blown away by the picture quality and the ability to preview live recording from your smartphone is extremely helpful with getting the perfect angle for my shots. The only downfall is battery life. I keep chargers handy but a longer lifespan would be helpful.

Onboard microphone is garbage like all GoPros. There is no 3.5mm microphone jack. Onboard battery last about 30 minutes. You can use an external battery pack with a USB-C cable or use an external microphone with a USB-C to 3.5mm jack adaptor but not both. You have to pick a battery pack or microphone. The adaptor I used was for a cell phone and was a splitter type that had both a USB-C and a 3.55mm jack, however, the GoPro would only recognize one or the other. My advice: spend the extra $100 to buy the Black. The Hero 7 Black comes with swappable batteries and a 3.5mm microphone jack.

I still have one of the original GoPro’s. Decided it was time to upgrade. Worth every penny for sure. You can control and view your GoPro by using the GoPro app. Plus, you a display screen on the back of the GoPro itself. You can review and change settings from there with the touch of a finger. 4K quality and picture mode as well. Has so many features and simple to use.

Works as expected. Great images in daylight. A little grainy inside without professional lighting. So far, it had proven to be waterproof in our pool. Send like the voice commands work well in dry conditions, and are spotty when wet. I am very pleased with it and my kids live it.

Great image quality in low light conditions, image stability is top tier. It’s quick and simple to download videos off my gopro using the app. My only issues are the battery that lasts about 1.5-2hours if recording in HD other wise i need to bring a portable charger

It was a good unit. Good picture and sound quality. Battery life is not the best, especially when recording in 4k, but it is a small unit so it is what it is. Easy to use.

Best waterproof camera easy to use very good quality

1st purchase of the go pro. I didnt realize how small it was and was concerned with the quality. We stuck it on the front dashboard of a jeep and traveled thru the mountains. The pictures and videos are amazing. So easy to use with voice commands.

This product is highly effective in capturing video on-the-go, in different climates, and maintaining functionality in a variety of situations. We have used it for family gatherings, kayaking, and doing outdoor activities.

Had to return because charging door fell off 3 days after purchase In spite of that Camera is fairly easy to set up takes fantastic videos and is very easy to link to your phone and your tablet editing software for videos is easy

This was a lot of fun on our latest trip to the beach. The kids used it in the pool and at the gulf and we have great quality photos and video. Our only issue is that it does occasionally glitch and freeze up. We then have to plug it in and restart it and reset all the settings each time. It has glitched four times on us and it's new to us. We read online you should update it but unfortunately it already had the latest software on it and the site refused to download it to the camera.

We’ve used the GoPro cam when riding our dirt bikes and fishing. Video is very clear and Stabilizing technology works well. Battery life does seem to drain faster than I thought it would but that is only complaint. Would recommend

Gave this as a gift, and it was a big hit! It was used at the Frio River the following week, and the videos and pics were incredible quality. The app makes it easy to connect and download, as well as edit and create video memories that will last a lifetime!

Brought this to Hawaii for a family vacation. It was to easy to capture all the fun moments from the goat farm to the beach to zip lining to hiking. The only thing I wish it had was exchangeable batteries instead of having to recharge the unit itself.
