Great camera easy to use, super stable, takes really good quality videos even while shredding down some mountain bike trails. Overall great package price on this camera.

This is great for the adventurer in you. I carry it everywhere and its not bulky, easy to mount. Perfect videos, i would say its a good buy without breaking the bank.

So I'm writing this review a month after owning the camera The only thing I can say is that the memory card to give you is too small it only records for an hour and the battery life usually lasts about an hour as well so if you want to make a lot of recordings especially long ones you're going to have to buy a way bigger micro SD and multiple batteries to keep up with your filming The cameras very user friendly and if you don't know what any of the presets are or how to change the settings just go to YouTube but overall a great camera

This version of GoPro is easy to use, its works fine and image quality is good, only sometimes touch on display is slow or doesn't sense the touch that easily. Battery of this version is good and but it drains energy quickly if used heavily

The image stabilization and image quality of the Hero 8 Black are incredible. There may be other cameras on the market that can match it, but none with the durability and ease of use that this offers. The bundle comes with a tripod that might prove useful, a helmet harness that is completely useless (as it would come loose if you were doing anything active), a spare battery (which is the reason to purchase the bundle), and an SD card that is really too small for practical use. Plan to buy a bigger SD card right away.

I have been using this camera for a good couple of months and I'm quiet impressed. The quality I'm getting from this camera at it's price point is great! This definitely solves the issue of paying for an expensive camera, tripod, and gimbal to achieve quality shots. Anyone can use it but you really have to take a little bit of time to understand the settings. I would suggest to start learning about the settings you bought the camera for in the 1st place. The hero 8 black bundle is a great deal. The improved camera is easy to set up, link to your phone to adjust the view when using the head strap. The head strap makes hands free video recording a breeze since the camera sees what you see. The recorded video quality is outstanding. The battery only lasts about 45 minutes to an hour when continuously recording. It comes with 2 batteries but If you are shooting a lot of video make sure you pick up a third battery or a separate charger to run off the USB in your car. When plugged into the USB, It will not let you shoot video and charge the battery at the same time.

I have only used this a couple times doing test videos and the video was outstanding. If I was rating it just on video it would get 5 stars but I do have couple complaints. The battery life was only about 20-30 min and going out all day I will have to carry multiple extras. To that point there is no way to use the camera while it is plugged in, the battery cover covers the charge port. I did find an after market cover that would allow use while charging. This is my first gopro and the instructions were minimal at best and it was frustrating learning all the settings, going online to look them up. I do look forward to using more and taking great videos.

I wanted a camera that would take good pictures without a lot of shaking motion as I was going to be traveling on tour bus and wanted to get shots out of the windows while moving. Heck, if you can get good pictures while flying down the mountain on bicycle, you could surely get good ones riding in a bus. Didn't disappoint me! BUT - Can't zoom in while recording which did disappoint me as I also used this camera at the destination wedding I attended.

The GoPro HERO8 Black Is by far the best GP yet. I have had them all threw the years but this one beats them all, It's loaded with the best tech for videography and live streaming which is all the rage these days plus it's completely water proof without the use of the clear case like on the older modals but you can pick one up later for extra impact protection and I would suggest that to protect your investment. This bundle pack is all you need to start getting some fantastic HD action footage above and below the water rain or snow.

The new hero 8 has such great features! The camera itself is waterproof and the video quality is amazing. Excited to use this camera for all of my activities!

I bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift. He rides Harleys, dirt bikes, and drive cdl for a living so I thought this would be perfect to capture all of his different adventures!!!! I bought all the different attachments so he can wear it on his helmet, chest, or stick it to the dashboard. The clarity of the picture is amazing and the features it has are so cool! It turned his video into a movie with music in the back ground! So far we are super impressed with this go pro and all the things you can do with it!

I've had the GoPro 3, 4 and 5 in the past so when this came out I knew I needed it too. The upgrades in it are incredible. I can't get over how amazing the internal stabilization is. I wasn't expecting it to be perfect since it's technically not a professional camera but the stabilization is better than one of my cameras that was over $1,000. Battery life is great but I definitely recommend getting spares if you're out on an adventure and don't have plugs around to charge. If you're looking for an action camera, get this one!

This camera can do a lot more than I expected!!! It is very versatile. setting up the camera was so easy very straightforward once you download the app on your phone and sync it with your camera. It’s neat that you can use your phone to control the camera and use it as a viewfinder. The packaging was nice and easy to unbox, came with all ... It’s also great that you can live stream with this camera. I find that the video quality is amazing for such a compact camera.

So my kids really want to be the next video blogger sensations and I really wanted a great video camera for all of our trips so I bought this GoPro Hero 8 for them to record themeselves and the picture and stabilization software is incredible. From water parks to the jungle gym, this camera is so easy to use and just has an incredible and stable video. With an added external boom microphone which was easy to install on an adapter, the kids have made some great vblogs of our adventures (before the quarantine!)

Spent hours trying to figure out how to update gopro8 on a laptop. It connected just fine and I can upload video. Would be nice to playback recordings directly from the go pro on the TV via USB- C cable. My best advice is to visit the go pro site before you buy one. Seems to be a decent device but the app u have to download and the site support need attention. This comes with no instructions on how to actually operate the camera. To be fair i am new to go pro and need more experience but ease of use is just not there. I had to do research on how to charge it, use it, update it and then finally just play with it to figure it all out. Research this heavily before you buy one. Maybe I will be happier when I figure it all out bu t after first day of use, not sure I am a happy customer. Best buy store didn't have a wall charger for this but from research, it seems u just use a regular USB wall charger adapter 5V 1A output, but you don't get that adapter to charge the gopro8 with the camera itself. Not sure if I recommend unless you know what u r getting into. As for memory cards, go to the support site to see what's compatible before I buy anything and also look at how to charge the camera. This is not everything i thought it would be. Will update this review later

I had that camera for 4 days before I returned it , but let me explain. Video quality is great but not perfect. Stabilization is awesome. Lots of shooting modes are great and easy to use BUT. Battery life sux. I tried to keep the camera powered on external battery for a long footage and after 18 minutes the camera was extremely hot. Hot to the point of smelling burning plastic. So if you like to use the camera for 15-20 minutes only then it is for you. If you try to extend it by having it connected to power for longer footage make sure you got water around.

This GoPro is by far the best! The stabilization is so impressive! Crisp and clear footage! All the 4K you want! It also come with an extra battery which if you have used a go pro you know how useful they are! Can never have too many MicroSD cards so getting the 32G included was nice! The selfie stick is long and short enough! It’s very good for every day shooting and for vloggin! Haven’t used the head mount yet, I wish they would have included a chest mount instead but still, great bundle! 100% get it!

This camera takes great pictures and video for it's size. I'm happy with that. It does tend to get pretty warm after extended use so Im a little concerned about its long term reliability. for it's size and performance I can't complain about the battery life which seems to last between 30 and 45 min of continues video recording. Can't wait to get the remote for it but it's somewhat pricey so I will haft to wait on that. I'm liking it so far. btw this is my first go pro just so you know.

This camera is beautiful! I use the GoPro Hero 8 to record snowboarding and hiking videos. There are a ton of different settings that are very easy to change on the fly with the touch screen! The videos, pictures, & time lapses this camera creates are stunning! I use with Final Cut Pro to edit videos. There importation of the videos and pictures is seamless! Very fun camera to use with Tons of options should you want to expand the overall functions of the camera! Good for both the beginner and pro!
