Really helped with the sound on my go pro. Only thing I wish it was waterproof.

I purchased this for the sole purpose of connecting an external/remote mic. Although this does make it harder to change your battery & the camera is no longer waterproof, this is definitely a great addition to my hiking kit.

Works just as it is supposed to. Using this for my streaming setup and home and for outdoor use of vlogging and it’s worked like a charm

I bought this before an extended vacation to vlog the entire trip. I used it at least a total of 6 hours a day, and between the wind, traffic, subway chatter and crowded street markets this microphone picked up every word my group had to say. For someone new to the hobby and not ready to invest in the more expensive microphones, this absolutely did the job.

Great accessory for the GoPro. You can connect an external microphone, or light, or anything you need to improve your video audio and quality. Will not use my GoPro if it doesn’t have this cover on.

The product itself is great. The purchasing at the store was not so great. There was no one at the register to check people out. When I asked a manger at the door he said there will be someone there shorty (aka 20 min) instead of himself checking us out. He was lazy and failed his customer base on that day and should be demoted.

I Highly recommend this case with the outside speaker to get directional sound. It doesn't do well if you are hoping to use it outside of a car to get rolling shots. All in All, I do recommend if your in a windy city or you want more clear and directional sound.

Awesome features and a good way to expand the GoPro functions. I use it while I ride dirt bikes and the wind noise is greatly reduced with it on. Definitely recommend it if wind noise is an issue. Microphone quality with voice is also improved too. Good product.

Big difference in recording sound. Recommend highly. Aldo makes charging easier using rear ports.

It fits my Go-Pros 10 and 12 perfectly and makes my sound come out much better, plus I can use my microphone when needed.

Mod Of Mods!!! I had an old GoPro3 or 4, it went on scuba and snorkeling trips where we turned it on and found out what we got (or didn’t) when we got home. Adding this mod to the new 9 makes it a darn nice and serviceable travel and bop around cam. The onboard mic is not too shabby and you can add a high end one if needed to boot! Well worth the price paid! You already paid a pile for the excellent gp9 so what’s a few extra bucks to make it an all around go to camera? Do it, you’ll love it!

It's a great addiction to the gopro adding good sound quality to the videos being recorded

A pretty cool attachment but it definitely bulks the GoPro size by double or more. The mic also didn’t seem to sound that great. Basically the same as if I had it just in the GoPros mic. I tired switching positions but still sounded bad. Maybe I got a bad unit, this seems to be more for vlogging. I strap mine on a helmet so less weight the better.

Clear and Clean audio. Annoying to swap batteries.

Really helps capture sounds much better for your GoPro. Easy to use and amplified my videos.

I needed this to output micro-HDMI from my GoPro 10 Black. I was surprised by the built in mic quality although I don't ever use the camera's audio in my production. So far the micro-HDMI port has not worn out but would expect it to eventually as they all do at some point. TWO CONSIDERATIONS TO MAKE. 1) Will cause your GoPro to heat up at 5k60p 2) Cannot use the USB Charging port while camera is recording

When recording audio is important with your gopro9 you need this. You have to take the battery door of the gopro to fit this on... so it shouldn't be used when waterproofing is a factor. The mics on this mod are a big improvement over the usual on-camera mics. There are 3 ports to plug external option to. and having coldshoe mounts is a handy also. It's well built with a solid feel. It works perfect as a companion with the RODE go (or go II) wireless mics.

Great addition to my 11. Works perfect. Only downside is it seems to draw on the battery when powered off. Not that much of a problem since I remove the batteries at the end of a filming session anyway for dock charging.
