I really like the media mod and the functionality of adding the ability to plug in an external microphone, as well as having built in front and rear microphones in the case. I also like that this adds the ability to plug in an HDMI mini cable. The only downside is the need to completely remove the case to take out the memory card or battery, but that is likely due to camera design and ability to be waterproof. Great product!

Clear and Clean audio. Annoying to swap batteries.

I needed this to output micro-HDMI from my GoPro 10 Black. I was surprised by the built in mic quality although I don't ever use the camera's audio in my production. So far the micro-HDMI port has not worn out but would expect it to eventually as they all do at some point. TWO CONSIDERATIONS TO MAKE. 1) Will cause your GoPro to heat up at 5k60p 2) Cannot use the USB Charging port while camera is recording

It's a great addiction to the gopro adding good sound quality to the videos being recorded

Great addition to my 11. Works perfect. Only downside is it seems to draw on the battery when powered off. Not that much of a problem since I remove the batteries at the end of a filming session anyway for dock charging.

think the media mod is a must for a GoPro. Not only for a microphone, but it has 2 cold shoe mounts and you can plug in other add on its like a exterior mic, a display, and you can even charge it while its install. I did find that it will interfere with aftermarket glass protectors for the rear display. The edges impact the protector and lift it off, or push it off the display making it crooked.

Casing worked as expected and helped with audio quality. Happy with the purchase.

Absolutely love this for my GoPro, bought it for recording bike vlogs. Absolutely cute out on the wind sound, an you can clearly hear me speak in my helmet while riding an various speed from 1 mph to 120 mph

This adds more flexibility to my GoPro 10. From charging to mounting, to adding an external mic, just plug and play. The mics not the best, but that's covered with the ability to plug a better mic for better sound.

Finally able to connect my Hero 9 to a battery pack and microphone for extended recording sessions. Be aware that you need to have a battery installed in the camera at all times which requires you to remove the camera from the Media Mod to replace the battery. This thing also allows you to use the Hero 9 with the Elgato Cam Link 4K as a good quality web cam. It doesn't add too much weight or bulk. It also does not interfere with the Max Lens Mod.

Necessary if you want an external microphone. Tge internal gopro mic and media mod mic is trash. Only buy if you want to increase audio quality. Good attachment tho it makes the gopro look more professional

Great product of GoPro! Easy to install! Clear voice in your video

Its a great additional features to your go pro makes a clean audio.limit the wind noise attachment if you want to add lights or mic boom or anything fits the mount.but the thing i dont like it makes your gopro bulky.

It does what it’s supposed to. The audio quality is decent but I’d still recommend an additional mic. Themis opens up a realm of other video and audio possibilities. For that, it’s worth the investment if your a blogger or creator who utilizes GoPros in your workflow.

Makes it possible for me to add an external mic to it to really up my audio. Also has HDMI out so i can use it to live stream to OBS.

Very good quality material.,Easy to use right out of the box and the connector ports are easily accessible when the Media Mod is installed over the GoPro.

Perfect just what I needed. Works well although a little bit bulky.

This is really smart. Now I can connect external power to my Hero 11 and take continuous video until I fill up my 1TB micro SD card! Plus the sound through the external microphone is very good.
