i can take my camera even deeper into the ocean for better pic.

Does what it is intended and is of good quality. I lost one of my GoPro's due to water damage even though they are supposed to be submergible. When I bought a new one, I bought this case to feel confident in not ruining another one. Worked great and I just leave it in the case now for that extra protection where ever I go.

i would say that is a must if there is water involved

There are less expensive knock offs. This is a very high quality design. You cannot go wrong with this. Just remember that the camera puts off heat and this housing will keep it. Use the open back when not submerging and this will help very much.

Great protection for GoPro11. Protects from dust, water and mud.

Works great, easy to use, no need to take your lens off. Older Hero 7 underwater cases required that you twist off your lens. While providing marginally better quality (less glass between sensor and object), they also made your gopro non-waterproof and were a pain to use. These newer cases don't require you to twist off your lens anymore, so even if your case floods you should be fine. It's simplistic and I couldn't see the impact of extra glass in my images.

Camera snapped right in no problems, mounted easily, I have not seen any issues or problems as of yet, camera does NOT shake in housing, picture looks GREAT, I CAN NOT complain. Good job GoPro! I always buy on brand with GoPro to ensure camera fit for better picture quality

Although Im not diving too deep, I wanted to by this product because I was scared of putting the GoPro straight in the water. My last GoPro was the Hero 3 so it felt strange. It works like a charm. I love having it on hand.

While I haven't been using this quite for it's intended purpose, it's still great. I've been using it as a way to keep my camera protected between uses until I can get a more proper storage bag or something. The only minor complaint I have is that the lens cover, which can be replaced, requires a very specific size hex bit to remove the screws and it's not real easy to find one in stores. Even my iFixit kit only has bits that are just barely too large or too small.
