I use my GoPro Hero 8 Black for whitewater kayaking, mountain biking, and backcountry skiing. So far, this has proven indestructible. It's been smashed against rocks and logs in Class IV-V rivers, clipped on low-hanging branches back country skiing, and seen a lot of general abuse. It stays water tight and protects my investment.

Very secure fit and I like the option of the skeleton back and the fully waterproof back. The housing has a very good feel to it and provides the extra protection from me!

Bought it as I was not sure if my Go Pro 8 will be waterproof and this really helps to keep it safe. Videos taken was still very clear even in this housing

When snorkeling I like to put the protectant housing on my GoPro. Even though they say it is not necessary, I do it anyway! Super simple to use and is a nice tight fit.

Works great! I use it for scuba diving and haven't had problems with video quality or damage to my camera. Only complaint is the buttons are a bit harder to push but that was to be expected in such a heavy duty case.

I took this to Gatlinburg on my white water rafting trip. I think the go-pro could handle a little water but it's nice having peace of mind with a case. As with all branded things go-pro is no-go on the price. Honestly everything is overpriced by them. But if you get any kind of discount it sweetens the deal. Quick thing, I had my go pro fly off my head while extreme go-karting and it took a hefty fall and was still ok outside of the case, but I would of felt much better and it would be less blemished with this thing.

Wow really does keep your GoPro camera dry and and safe from damage. Dropped my Hero 8 and it saved the day.

This is a must have if you want to protect your investment. Although the Hero8 Black is shock and water proof already this housing will help protect it in extreme impact conditions or to you to deeper depths while diving. The only downfall is you will loose a little sound quality with this extra housing on but it will make no difference with sound or pitcher quality under water.
