Great battery. The charge lasts a pretty good amount of time depending on the settings like GoPro describes. I had two other aftermarket batteries (Sma Tree) and they both completely quit working the same day after about 6 uses. The original battery from GoPro is still going strong. I would definitely recommend this battery after testing against others.

We were so glad to have bought a backup. Shooting video really eats up the power and when you are on vacation there is nothing worse that running out of battery before the best memories are made. No lost memories, thanks to having a back up with us. The batteries are easy to change. All I want for Christmas is the dual charger and then I'm set.

I purchased this battery for times when I use my GoPro for extended periods. It is exactly the same as the original battery that comes with the camera, so it essentially doubles the amount of time you can use the camera. Also helpful is the double battery charger so you don't have to stop using your camera in order to charge your batteries.

Wanted to make sure I had a spare battery so when I'm out and about I don't have to worry about running out of juice. So far I've only just alternated between the two batteries. But I know when summer hits I'll be using the batteries a lot. And shouldn't have to worry about running out of power.

I own several GoPro cameras and tons of peripheral equipment. All of the GoPro products and made high quality and are well designed. This battery is no exception. It is easier to install and charge than previous models. I will highly recommend this additional battery to anyone who owns a GoPro Hero4.

Bought this for the sole purpose of taking it with me to a cruise. It's always good to check what kind of battery your GoPro has, internal or external. As soon as my battery dies I can make a quick transfer to the extra battery without having to worry about missing out on beautiful memories :)

I purchased this before my cruise and it was a lifesaver. The GoPro comes with one battery, but if you have one on the charger it makes it easy to capture all the pictures and video you want without wondering about battery life. I would highly recommend this for everyone. Great product.

I use this spare battery for my sporting event weekends when I want to make sure I can record all of my son's games without finding out it shut off from a dead battery part way through the game. It charges quickly and lasts longer than what I expected to get out of recording time.

If you are ever out somewhere and need a fresh battery to catch the right moment and don't have one, you will kick yourself for not buying this. Slightly different that original, but works absolutely the same.

I am so happy I bought the extra battery. While you are out and about, the battery gives you about an hour and a half recording time. So if you are starting and stopping a lot you are going to want more battery power. I stick to the GoPro brand so nothing backfires.

This is completely worth $20 rather than waiting for your one battery to charge. Everyone should have 2 SD cards and 2 batteries. Much easier to switch both out when in need than wait for charging times. Don't hesitate to pick this up if you are unsure.

I had a different waterproof video camera before and the battery would only last an hour or so. I was really pleased that it lasts longer than I even need it in my GoPro Hero 4. I bought this as an extra and have never run out of power.
