They provide about 50% more capacity than the Hero 7, 8 batteries. Introduced after the Hero 10 and now standard on the Hero 11, they charge more quickly, hold a charge longer, work at much lower temperatures and provide longer runtimes than the original blue ones. The new chemistry is a real winner and at no real price increase over the older ones. If you're going to get extra batteries for your Hero (9, 10, 11), and who doesn't, these are the ones to get!

I have no complaints just know these batteries don't have a higher capacity, just materials built into them that gives them a little more resistance to extreme temps vs the now original blue batteries. Be advised these DO NOT come with a charger. You will need to buy a charger for these seperately.
