I bought a go pro hero black 7 and love to take a video of my son's . I don't want to run out of the battery so I bought 2 batteries. Two weeks after I bought the camera we went to the Disneyland in LA I took my gopro hero7 with me and took alot of video. When my battery running low I switched to the other one. I only problem with the tape part to pull the battery out ,the heat from camera made the glue loose and when I pulled out the battery the tape fall out and the battery stuck half way it hard to took out. Finally after I took that battery out I put clear tape on 3 of them to help pulled out easy. I wish they made the battery part like regular camera this tape thing just not seem to work out.

It's a well known that gopro batteries dont last long. So it's a must to have more than one battery. This one works great I have no complaints.

I bought extra batteries to use for my travels... you don't wanna miss a thing when you're out there! I used my GoPro cam for snorkeling and taking vids of my magnificent surroundings and having that extra GoPro battery is priceless!!

I wasn't sure I would need an extra battery, but the Hero5 takes beautiful videos, so I use it a lot to document my travels. It is nice to have the additional battery to make sure I don't run out of juice and miss something I would regret.

I needed another battery for my GoPro 6. The camera was new and they didn't show any extra batteries. The website didn't show any compatibility between the batteries for the 5 and 6, but after comparing them they are the same.

Loving my new GoPro Hero 6 so much I had to get extra batteries so that I could record and take pictures all day. I purchased three extra batteries for my two GoPro Hero 6 cameras but have never used more than two per camera in a whole twelve hours of on off and left on for time lapse video and pictures. I would highly recommend at least one extra battery because they take quite a while to charge and it will come in extremely handy on those long days out shooting footage.

I do a lot of motorcycle riding in many scenic locations. My GoPro is a must on these trips. Therefore I needed to ensure I had enough battery life to complete the journey. This battery has not let me down. I am planning a cross country trip in 2018 and plan to buy another, maybe two, to ensure I always have a fresh battery that gives me hours of recording time. Fast charging battery and easy to install so you can have fun in the sun

My boyfriend and I drove from California to Virginia with only two Go Pro batteries and having this as a back up was more than enough. We took a ton of pictures and videos and the first battery lasted a while but eventually we did change the battery and it literally lasted the rest of the trip and part of our stay in Virginia. So glad we got it!

would highly recommend getting an extra battery for your GoPro as they tend to die quickly. Remember to turn off your GoPro if you aren't using it to save that precious time, but I go back and forth between three batteries and I wouldn't go on a trip with less than 2 extras.

The Go Pro Hero 6 labeled batteries weren't in stock when I bought this and I didn't have time to order them online. A quick google search mentioned that this battery is also compatible with the Hero 6. I can confirm that this is accurate now that I've used it in mine.

This was a fantastic afterthought as we really used it a lot on our recent trip to the islands. A must have with a go pro on vacation if you are like us and love to take video and photos when we're away

I bought this as an extra battery for my hero 6. Although it says hero 5 on the label it worked with the hero 6. it did have a little sticker which said that it would work with the hero 6 and it did.

I bought this extra battery when i bought the double battery charger. I didn't realize the charger came with an extra battery so I don't really use this one but still never hurts to have an extra.

If you own the GoPro 6 (or your GoPro 5 is over a year old)....this is a must. On my recent snowboarding trip the battery only lasted about 4 hours (shooting 4k). The extra battery allowed me to make it through the whole day (assuming you memory card can hold all your great shots...recommend ExtremePro 128gb). Battery is small and easy to carry in pocket for when you are ready to exchange. Nice fabric tab to allow for easy removal.

I bought this product as a part of Go Pro 5 accessories. It works excellent as it supposed to. Surely will recommend for Go pro 5 users who use a lot and need battery back up.
