Definitely worth a purchase if you use your GoPro a lot. I find it very helpful to have an extra battery when the one in my GoPro is all used up. A must have!

This battery is working great and is priced right in my opinion. On my Hero 5 Black, I seem to get better life than earlier models - this is on 1080P, 60 FPS, and voice control on. I've had no heating issues or bulging after a few complete charges. I am also surprised that the cold weather is not draining it as quickly like earlier models used to.

My son can’t get enough of his GoPro so this is perfect for him giving him extra time to keep recording once his original battery dies.

I use my GoPro all the time , and i can not stress this enough .. Back up , back up .... BACK UP !!! well worth the investment .

It is a great battery to have to compliment your go pro. Spares are always needed in my opinion and this one last a good time.

It’s a good idea to have a back up battery when you know you won’t be able to charge the original. Good battery, long lasting.

The generic is a little cheaper, but I felt better buying the actual GoPro battery for a back up. Worth the few extra dollars

Videos from the GoPro Hero 5, specifically in 4K, use a lot of battery power. If you’re not careful with the length of the video being taken, the battery will be dead quick. Highly recommend having a second charged battery on hand.

You must have at least an extra battery you can depend for your great action camera so you won't miss the great shot.

3rd party batteries might be cheaper but in my experience the official gopro batteries last longer during usage.

This is a must if you plan on using your gopro on a trip. It adds more hours to film and shoot your adventures.

Moments are so fast, you want to have them all! Does not occupy too much space/weight when bringing your Go Pro and accesories., always comes in handy.

Took the GoPro snorkeling in Cozumel. The battery lasted longer than I expected at the middle grade quality.

Having a backup battery for your GoPro is a must when out and about shooting videos or photos all day. A little over priced for a battery in my opinion, but well worth the price when that special moment comes around.
