Im an amateur at goPro. I'm starting to love every minute of this little bad boys. But i'm finding out that when my goPro is on standby for too long, obviously my battery dies. that's why you need back ups. this batteries is a must-have. it just works. plug it in and you're up and running again. there's really nothing much too it. so far, it holds it's charge. no complains.

You must have extra batteries if you want to get the most out of your Hero5 camera. These batteries fit perfectly. They do take a while to fully charge. That's the reason for 4 stars.

To be expected, the replacement/spare Hero 5, 6 and 7 battery is exactly what's needed for longer recording sessions. Truthfully, I can't imagine not having 3-5 for an afternoon of shooting. If you don't have a spare, I'd encourage everyone to at least pickup one additional battery. Nothing worse than having to cut recording short because of a dead battery.

I like to have extra batteries for my GoPro so I don’t miss a shot. It’s very convenient to have more than one because Best Buy has the best prices!

Just got a new GoPro Hero 5 camera and wanted a second battery. I have found that the new batteries do not last that long. So far the battery has lasted for what I needed but if you're in the market for these you might want to get 2-3. The good thing about these is the price. For a Go Pro products they are not that expensive, setting you back around $20. That's a huge plus.

Just started with gopro 7. I purchased 6 of these for foreign travel requirements and found the price was on point with other discounters. The battery is ok for the camera, and as reviewed by other users does not last forever...but 1hr record time on avg is ok by me as I usually prepare battery swaps when recording anyway.

Love that it charges very fast and it lasts a day or two depending on how you use the camera. Just wish it comes with a charger to charge the battery.

There’s nothing like the original lithium ion batteries from GoPro. I purchased some off brands for less thinking that they would surfice but they started to discharge on their own and give inaccurate charge readings. I learned my lesson and now will stick to original GoPro batteries for reliable charge and performance.

One battery is simply not enough for a GoPro. Specially with a big micro sd cars. Battery runs out before filling up the memory card.

Bought GoPro brand battery for the ease of mind knowing that it will work and last as long as the manufacturer states. Tempted to buy third party batteries for GoPro hero 5 just a little skeptical on how there made and the longevity of these battery's. Don't mind spending a few extra dollars for a battery that was designed and tested for the GoPro camera.

You Need two or three of these and they are cheap so buy extra
