Hero 7 black takes unbelievable photos under water up to 100 depth with this item

It's a great protection but is difficult to use, the camera is not touch so is pretty enough

I’ve been on 12 dive trips since I bought this and its worked perfectly every time. Its dragged on the sea floor and on the sidewalk when I dropped my BCD; it survived with barely a scratch.

I love the housing. word to the wise though, make sure its completely dry before using other wise you won't get a good seal

I was told that the body styles from the 5 and 6 were the same however it didn’t fit my 6. Looks like the lens pop out is the problem. I was heading on a trip and stupidly threw away the case it came in to fit in my luggage. Live and learn I guess.

Protects but this adds a black circle around the lenses!! So if you want a bad fish eye sight then go for it. If you want wide view don’t get!!

I have the gopro hero6. A $400 investment. While I am completely aware the gopro itself is now waterproof (with correctly closed housing doors up to 10m), I like to go deeper than 10m sometimes, and when I don't, I tend to put my camera through pretty "water-violent" situations. In other words, under big waves, tossing up in the air into water, accidentally running into some reef or coral every now and then, etc. Simply put, I put my gopro through a variety of situations that can easily lead to 1) my lens getting cracked by a drop on a rock 2) housing doors becoming unlatched by accident underwater 3) any situation that can scratch/damage the camera or jeopardize its built-in waterproofing. If you're like me and want peace of mind as well as GUARANTEED SAFETY OF YOUR $400 INVESTMENT, this $50 will give you both of those. I never, I repeat NEVER, go underwater without this housing. Even though I know my gopro will be totally fine in a swimming pool, I never take the chance and suit it up before getting anywhere near the water. Do I need to you remind you the gopro is $400??? This housing is not just waterpoof to much lower depths (for you snorkelers/scuba divers out there), but it also protects against drops, scratches, lens cracks. Additionally, salt water is a lot more abrasive and leads to higher chance of damage than pool or fresh water. I dont just recommend this to anyone with a gopro hero 5 or 6, I am TELLING you to just buy it and you'll thank yourself and me later. Regardless of how you use your gopro, buy this housing. It is a must. $50 pales in comparison to having to buy a new gopro.

Just be sure to remove the lens cover on the camera prior to placing it in the super suit, and the Gopro Hero 2018 fits perfectly. Taking the cover off can seem like you are going to break it, but watching a you tube video on the topic will eliminate any concern over that. Even though the Gopro Hero 2018 can go in the water, something about taking it into saltwater just makes me nervous. Glad I purchased the super suit. I also purchased filters for underwater that seem to fit on the suit very well.

Great case for my gopro when I went scuba diving. Allowed me to go to greater depths and protected the camera.

Awesome case for going underwater. Fits the GoPro really snug and great for use with the lens filters.

This casing was perfect to record our family trip to the beach! Although the GoPro is technically waterproof, I figured splurging on this case would be worth the extra protection and security it offers. I would just make sure it is properly closed as it did fog up slightly. I have yet to test it in deep water, but so far it was great under a few meters!

Fits the GoPro like a glove. Easy to use and easy to handle. Only fits GoPro 7 Hero Black, not the other GoPro 7 models. Had no problems, took to over 100’ underwater without problems.

Bought this to protect and use in on trip to Caribbean. Not necessary for GoPro Hero5 Black unless going below 30'. Product still adds tremendous amount of protection to GoPro Hero5 Black without effecting quality of pics/vids. Great addition to protect your investment.

The supersuite works very well and closes with a satisfying snap. I wish it the touch screen of the camera worked when inside this tthing as we ended up leaving it inside the suit most of the time, even on dry land. Also, you will have to remove the gopro hero 5 lense to insert it into the case, which is a pain in the butt.

Bought this so I can use it when I go scuba diving, is water resistant for a nice depth as well. Very strong and durable case, the only issue is that the video sounds a little funky when I use the super suit. Not too many problems otherwise. Highly recommend for protection and attaches easily to other mounts.

...in and under water. I purchased the suit as I wanted to use the Go Pro in and around my pool. Go Pro cameras are not supposed to require this extra level of protection (they are supposed to be okay in water up to depths much lower than my pool goes) but I did not want to risk depending only on the Go Pro claim of water resistant. I also read a few reviews where people had stories of water creeping into their Go Pros. Very happy I purchased this case, and the camera is fairly easy to insert in this case once you get used to attaching / detaching the lens cover (which must be removed for the camera to get in to the case). Definite must if you will be around water and want some additional peace of mind.

Fits perfectly, worked really well in ocean diving, and easy to work with. I was really impressed with the buttons on the case that allow you to manipulate the camera pretty easily.

Even though the Go Pro is waterproof this gave me an extra layer of security. I took this to a trip to Cancun, and it was in the water constantly. Never had an issue. This worked perfectly. On some go pros you will need to take off the lens cover as it will not fit without first removing it. I didn't know how to remove it so I looked at a video on YouTube on how to safely remove the cover. It took me a few times of removing and installing for me to get the hang of it. I would recommend attaching a float to the attachment you are using.
