It’s a must have. This should be included with all go pros. I strapped it to the selfie stick for more utility. Love that it is waterproof and we were able to take with us to the water park.

I needed something that was voice activated so I purchased a gopro. Not only was it durable but I was able to purchase a remote that was as durable as my camera. It worked great with extreme weather conditions, under water, and at a great distance.

Man, do I love this remote! I also have a few other different remotes to control the GoPro camera when I’m creating content. The fact that this tells you how long you’ve been recording helps you keep track of clip number and you can also use this remote to switch modes instead of turn the camera off like the single button with the power button on top.

Great for selfie and tripod pics/videos! If you don’t have it, get it.

Was a bit skeptical at the need for it during my initial gopro purchase but I can tell you, after the first usage, I wouldn’t start or continue my GoPro journey, without this remote. I strap it to the steering wheel on my side by side and start/stop recording as well as using the blinking record indicator on the remote to let me know I’m capturing without ha I got to turn around and check. It also tells you it’s battery life and the hero 9. Which is a really useful feature. I only charged it once and I’ve been out riding on 5 all day excursions.

It is so nice to have this remote so I don’t have to always push the record button in the camera. If you stop recording and leave the camera on it will go to rest mode and the remote allows you to wake it up by hitting the record button once and then pressing it again to record. Very convenient. It takes a moment to load up each time to sync with your camera. But it charges Very fast. A little pricey but it does the job specially if you want to make your buttons last on your GO PRO.

This is good but there is a slight delay when firing the gopro for time-lapse. If you are trying to capture a specific moment, let your gopro keep running rather than trying to time it right by using the remote. Basically good otherwise, It is nice to be able to trigger the camera from a remote location that is relatively far away.

Great accessory to use for the GoPro. Training for mountain bike races and triathlon, this handy little handheld has made quick video clips as easy as can be! Quick connection, long battery life, and a wrist/bar strap has helped to gain very timely snapshots and video along the way.

Overall, I like the remote compared to aftermarket ones. This one has a large screen, whereas some of the aftermarket remote screens are small and hard to read. Definitely durable and easy to use/connect. Price is the only thing that is not the greatest.

As advertised. Very good size and controls are easy to navigate.

Remote paired easily with GoPro Hero 9. The large button makes it easy to activate camera with gloves on. I used it both mounted on wrist and also mounted directly on the bike frame. Finally I can be assured that the camera is rolling when I want it to. No more guessing if it is recording or not.

If you need a button to start and stop your GoPro, this is the thing you need. The strap is too long for most things I’d want to strap it to (handle bars?) but that isn’t really a problem. Works great every time, and great battery life.

I love this Go Pro 12 Remote. It was very easy to be used and connect easily with the Go Pro Camera. In the past I bought the not original ones (not Go Pro), it was so difficult to connect with the camera, and complicated to be used.

This product is good when you using stick or remote recording. another option from your phone to record, so I can say product itself is looks good, but expensive for $79 due to you are using it less then needed. maybe if the price will be some where $20-30 it can be good. I got this and while I was traveling return window was closed. Not recommend for the price above $45

Easy to use rather than reliying on the app. liking the easy connect and use. OVERPRICED for what it is.

Purchased this remote to try it out and find another way to control our GoPro Hero 10 Black another way without having use the voice control. Overall am happy with the performance of the remote!! Why the 4 stars though? Well, first off it's a nit picky thing. OVERALL the remote is responsive and works wonders if you want to snap pic or start a video without having to use the GoPro's voice control or use the physical shutter button on top of the camera. My wife especially since she takes selfies at times and didn't want to reach to push the button to take a pic or start a short video. Some points that maybe GoPro can consider if they were to introduce an update to this remote. For starters I wish it had some sort of backlighting to use in the dark without having to look at the camera to see what shooting mode you are in. Second GoPro should try to include more features to try to control the camera further like the camera's onboard menu. However if this remote were to include the same menu control features like the cam itself it would it surely would increase in price and make it not worth getting anymore. So basically if you're looking for simple control of your GoPro to switch what modes you want like Slo-Mo, Normal Video, or Still Picture taking this remote works wonders. It's almost a perfect GoPro remote, not quite, but am happy overall with the purchase and performance!!
