If you are trying to capture a specific moment, let your gopro keep running rather than trying to time it right by using the remote. Basically good otherwise, It is nice to be able to trigger the camera from a remote location that is relatively far away.

A no brainer purchase!

I’ve had the older generations without the remote. When I upgraded to a new GoPro camera, I purchased the remote and WOW! The ease of recording and taking full view pictures ans video is great. I feel ashamed it took me so long to get one!
