By far the best investment ever. We can take it anywhere because it's easy to carry and take great pictures

Remote has a much further range than Bluetooth using my phone. Plus it's more convenient in wet environments.

Best Go Pro Yet. The quality of the picture is wonderful but the battery life is something that can be worked on.

Another quality product but expensive. If you don't need the 600' range then use the app and save money.

Having the GoPro remote allows me to easily start, stop and take photos while the GoPro is attached to my body, board, jetski or helmet. Without it, I have to start the camera before taking off and it usually runs out of battery before I am done filming. Setting up the remote to pair and use with the GoPro unit is not all that intuitive so better have the manual handy when you're ready to use it for the first few times.

The remote is quick to start & connect so there is not much time wasted if you need a quick shot. Having all the settings and controls readily available is super convenient when the gopro is away from you at that particular time. It's pretty durable as well as I accidentally banged it on a hike in Oregon. I'd say it's a must if you don't want to pull out your cell and waste battery or have to reach for gopro itself.

Works perfectly without any delays on the GoPro. Price is a little high for its functions

This makes using the camera so much easier!1 You can see what mode you are in and change settings without touching the camera. Makes taking group pics so much easier. I usually Velcro the remote to my selfie stick so i can use the camera while it is connected to the stick!! It would be nice if you could lock out the setup button so you don't get into setup options on accident but overall its not a big deal.

I have been looking at the GoPro camera line for several months trying to decide which one and if I even wanted an action camera. After all research, I decided that the Hero 4 Silver was the proper choice as I have no 4k video devices. I am happy with the camera and it it much more usable than I had imagined it would be.

This is an excellent accessory to have. It helps tremendously when you are driving. You can see how much battery life there is and you are able to time the length of videoing your trip without missing anything because the battery went out and you are unable to change it because there is no where to stop. This is a must have for any GoPro enthusiast.

This remote is awesome, you can use it from far away and connect to multiple (50) GoPro at once to for simultaneous shots to capture the action from different angles. I use it with 2-3 GoPros at a time. Works great and also can use it to change setting on but only with one cam connected which is really my only gripe but still great remote.

The remote control makes it a lot easier to use when you want to set up the camera to video yourself doing whatever outside activities you may be doing. My son uses it to play airsoft so that he can start the camera from a distance. This is a good accessory for the go Pro.

This remote is easy to use and works well. I recently attached my GoPro to the Goal Post during my 6 year old son's soccer game. The remote is good and is responsive. You will, however, need to remain within the detectable range which is less than 30 feet in order to maintain consistent connectivity.
