Good product, easy to use, good quality of pictures

I took this on my Asia trip and I'm glad that I did. It came in handy when we were taking group shots with a scenic background. I was concerned because I read reviews that it sucks up your battery. It didn't drain my battery as much as I thought it would. I also had a few extra battery packs so that was helpful.

Another great product from Gopro! Came in real handy while snorkeling in the Caribbean. Also useful for when my 6 black is mounted on a long pole or to my shoulder and I dont want to keep repeating "gopro start video, gopro stop video...or gopro take photo" with voice command... like amongst crowds , or in an ancient church! Besides, the voice command... although works great!! Is FAR from ideal when there's ambient noise around you. Sooo... THIS thing is super easy to use...easily switch between video or photo modes with the tap of the button on the remote. I just wish the battery lasted a wee bit longer.

Bought it for my gopro session and it pairs up easy and good functionality and best part of all it water proof to as deep as my GoPro 4 session can go 33ft. And it was priced match to Amazon price with ease. Only bad thing is that it doesn't show what your shooting with the go pro like the phone.

I liked the remote and found it easy to use, and connect to the camera. Only reason i gave it three stars is it only lasted 2 weeks before the remote stopped working completely. I returned it and got another one. Hopefully it lasts this time.

I got this as a gift and did not think I would use it much. However I find that I do use use it quite a bit. Primarily when the camera is mounted such that it is awkward to reach. Not something that I would have purchased myself but it is nice to have. Basically same controls as on the camera.

You will need this to run multiple GoPro's at the same time for action recording or blogs and etc., however it seems to drain the GoPro battery faster when using it wirelessly without the battery pack, and may cause freezing with the Hero 4 black and Hero 4 session in my experience.

Solid build, waterproof, light, unnoticeable. Except that it sometimes doesn't stay connected to my GoPro! But it does work... it's very handy. I race paddleboards in open ocean and I can't easily just drop down to turn the camera on and off. The remote is a convenient way for me to tap when strapped to my wrist and I'm taking on big waves to surf downwind. I just can't seem to keep it connected to my camera continuously. Maybe my camera is broken? But it's only 4 months old and I maintain all my gear.

Takes a little bit of time to connect to my Hero 5 and sometimes I have to reinitiate the connection. If I try to use the iPhone app and the remote, there’s a connection problem. If you keep it simple and only use the remote, you shouldn’t have any problems.

We love our go pro! It takes amazingly clear pictures! We take it everywhere. My 17 year old wanted this for graduation. We have used it in Cancun zip lining, in the pool, cliff diving, snorkeling....... All of the photos have been impressive! I highly recommend this product!

This remote is great when it works. It kept disconnecting from the GoPro which I had on my motorcycle helmet which meant I had to manually turn off the camera and try to reconnect while going down the road. Despite those glitches it was handy to have and we don't regret buying it.

I bought this along with my GoPro Session. I normally have been mounting my GoPro to my helmet so having this really helps out so I don't have to feel around for the record button. So far haven't had any complaints about the device it's self and works as advertised.

I bought this when I bought the GoPro Session and feel that it is a needed accessory for the camera. You can use your smartphone but if your around water you need this. Very easy to make changes to the camera.

The remote works great most of the time. I noticed when under water sometimes it looses connection and the range is not the great. The camera and control need to be literally next to each other which is a bumer.

A nice and sturdy remote for my go Pro Hero 4.. Using my smart phone app for remote shooting was good but carrying a bulky smart phone around wasn't ideal. My reward points helped and got a really good deal from Best Buy! Overall I'm so glad that I bough this..

Short of roboticly programmed random shots, this trigger mechanism is the only way to capture your I tented image without removing your helmet. But, I always expend the remote battery before the camera battery.

I absolutely love my Hero 4 Silver. I'm glad I got the Silver because I love the touch screen and how I can see what I'm shooting. I used it on vacation and it was great because it is small and durable. I would recommend the Hero 4 Silver out of all models right now!

Haven't used it much yet because it came without a manual. Have to go online to get manual or find out how to use it. Should come with a quick reference manual to keep with camera, but doesn't. Once I figure out how to use it, should make turning the camera on/off easier.

This remote does the job as needed for my GoPro 6. I have tested this unit in water, and appears to do fine. Only complaint I have is wish somehow the text on the screen was bigger, hard to see. I am older so my eyes have hard time seeing.

This is a must for me! I use it when I want to take pictures on my selfie stick and when the gopro is set somewhere I can't reach. I like this remote because it is waterproof so I even took it in the ocean!
