Love it.. yes its pricey but you can hit the record button, hit the picture button without having to change the modes on the actual gopro or having to have your phone controlling the gopro in one hand and the gopro in your other hand. Just frees up space.

As far as the feel of the handheld I'm well pleased. When adding the media mod with this product, I found that the Gopro likes to turn itself on without my input. This could be user error but until I figure that out, I'll suggest using this with the Gopro and attaching another mic instead.

Absolute must have accessory solely for the extra battery life convenience. The remote was a slight perk but usually felt awkward to use because of the badly thought out placement of the power cord. Overall, a solid 4 for the battery convenience.

I love this! My batt never dies bc this is always the back up!! The only thing missing is the extended it would be better if you can extend it but overall . Its really good

The unit itself is great, Battery is pretty much all day for me, I use a 128gb sd card for videos and photos. I'm not a fan of how the cord is made, when you spin the camera the cord gets pulled pretty hard and might be able to break especially with the Media mod attached to it.

It works very well and was easy to set up and use. I use the media mod and it’s nice to not take the GoPro completely apart and out of the mod to change the battery. That alone makes this such a good purchase.

I actually made my own version of this that I used for years, but it broke; was stoked to see it in stock at the random Best Buy I was near; snagged and used for a week of recording on Hot Rod Magazine PowerTour and it was awesome!

Needed accessory for any GoPro hero 9 or newer. This allows me to record videos much longer I have a lot more control over them.

Great add on for the GoPro 12. It does what it’s supposed to do, great for festivals

I love the weight and portability, but the coiled cord is a pain and constantly leaves me worried its going to break the usb c input

This is the best accessory ive bought for my go pro.

Love how I don't have to worry about the battery life. I can just use it all day. The only thing is the connection and the way it works gets a little spotty. But other than that it's great to have.
