Short, Beautiful puzzle game

Whenever someone I know is looking for a new puzzle game to try, I recommend Gorogoa. It's deeply beautiful, and the gameplay is fairly unique. There are a handful of instances that seem like "moon logic", but nothing is truly out of left field. The story is subtle - really, REALLY subtle. I didn't fully understand what was happening until my second playthrough. That being said, once you have a chance to focus on the story instead of "how do I solve this", the story is sublime. None of the puzzles change for subsequent playthroughs though, just an fyi. So if you want a long game packed with puzzles that chance on every playthrough, this isn't it - but if you want a medium-short game with beautiful art and unique puzzles, this will be perfect for you.

Short but amazing while it lasts

Although the game is extremely short (can be beaten in about 2-4 hours depending on how easily you're able to solve the puzzles), it is an amazing experience while it lasts. The art style is creative and the puzzles are just often just challenging enough - they take some thought but the solutions are generally logical. If you like point and click adventure games with beautiful art style, an engaging story (note that the story is inferred throughout and not directly given to you), and peaceful music, this is definitely worth checking out!

Only negative is that it is a quick play.
Beautiful images. It's awesome to have this on Switch because it becomes so much more immersive on the TV.
It is really fun to try different things and techniques to try to solve each level and reveal something new! Very fun, immersive, and beautiful.

Beautiful visuals, thoughtful story, strategic puzzles — overall incredible experience. A game’s short length shouldn’t have to require a ridiculously low price. Support more game creators like this. Everyone should play this work of art.

This is a highly entertaining game. Time killer... I found myself just hitting around the screen at times because I’ve been stuck. If you like puzzles then this is it. I just wish it was a longer game than what it is.

Great little game. The puzzles were fun to figure it out and the wife loved it. Only downside, was it was short and was finished rather quickly.

Artistic Indie Game

Gorogoa is an extremely short game. I bought this game physically because of the artistic art style. If art isn't part of your gaming repertoire, then, Gorogoa isn't for you. Of course a collector collects for the sake of collecting.
I'm glad to have this artistic puzzle physically. Although a short game, I did enjoy it to it's fullest.

This game is unlike anything I had played before. With no manual all I can say is thank God for You Tube. Once I got the hang of it I really enjoyed the experience.

Such a unique game. While a bit on the short side, worth the price for an esoteric experience.

Really cool game w/all of the puzzle aspects, wish there was a sequel for this game or some kind of expansion. Enjoyed every single part of the game, but got stuck at some parts as it could get very tricky.

Great/unique tile puzzler

Tile based puzzle game that is both psychedelic and mind bending. The first few moments of the game feel a little like the game is just guiding itself, but once it abandons you to figure it all out on your own, it really gets flowing.
You point and click in and out of tiles, and rearrange them to complete a larger game map that you can move thru to progress they the puzzles/story.
It’s really it’s own thing. Very unique and great if you’re looking for a mellow (and decently tough at times) puzzler.

Grab Gorogoa while you can, this is from IAM8BIT and these prints seem to be lower than the Limited Run Games ones. Pretty much selling out and its a great Annapurna title. If you can grab this and the other IAM8BIT games then you should be good to go as they make wonderful games.

This game had a cool title and a pretty cover. It will look pretty on my self till I get the time to play it. One day, I shall conquer the game, unless I never get to playing it.
