Season 3 is nothing short of fantastic. In the beginning Gotham was a little slow in the start and critics have voiced that it was too kid or PG oriented and that we as adults expected more. However, it is a show that has been getting better and better progressively. Season 3 is where things are starting to take shape of what they will be like. It is a great show and personally I cannot wait until we get around season 6 or 8. I do hope that it gets darker and grittier progressively not abruptly.

To me, this show is worth watching once. So typically I would not recommend buying it but if you or someone in your household likes to watch things multiple times it is definitely worth the buy. It is a great show that like Smallville goes too far into the heroes/villains surrounding the superhero the show is centered around to make sense but just throw your superhero logic (superheros being logical is funny I know but bear with me), out the window and enjoy the show for what it is, entertainment with elements of things you probably like about Batman.

While I enjoy Gotham, as a long time comic book fan I find the show frustrating. The idea of a Gotham City before Batman just never seemed like a good idea to me. Had they gone with a live action version of GCPD it would have been better. But this is about the TV show and the show has its moments. There are enough special feature on this set to satisfy those of us that like those types of things with their DVD/Blu-Ray collections. For the casual Batman fan, there is enough recognition on most of the characters to not confuse folks, and a stellar cast keeps the viewer engaged from week to week or episode to episode if you are buying it on disc.

Season 3 of GOTHAM SEALED THE DEAL FOR ME. After an uneven first season and a pretty darn good second. The third kicked it up about 20 notches in all the right ways. Great blu ray transfer and great sound. SOLID FROM BEGINNING TO END. So sad and mad the show will end after 5. I've often said and will always say it is the child of Batman 1989 and Batman Returns! Just brings me pure happiness. Plain and simple.

This is one of the greatest shows to ever be broadcast on TV. You do not even need to be a Batman fan to enjoy this show. This third season is one of the best so far. Great actors and actresses giving great performances, make this show outstanding. I don't praise a lot on TV these days but this show changed all of my feelings about recent TV. Watch the series; you won't be disappointed.

GOTHAM Season 3!!! What can I say it's awesome, they introduce new characters like mad hatter, and others, plus the famous return of fan favorite Jerome and Bruce is still on his path to becoming Batman. So if you're a Batman fan this is definitely a must have. This will be a nice addition to your collection.

Each Season of Gotham continues to excite, intrigue and stun. This is one of the BEST SHOWS OUT. I am a die-hard comic book to film fan. So, I have to buy EVERY DC and Marvel movie and TV series available! That being ssid, Gotham is well-written, directed and acted in. DEFFINITELY WORTH EVERY PENNY! A MUST HAVE for any fan!!

Great season of Gotham. I guess my only complaint is that there is way too much backstabbing, switching allegiances, characters coming back to life every other episode and way too many storylines. Other than that another good season from Gotham and looking forward to season 4. Great blu ray with a slew of special features.

People want to see Gotham to see batman. Well think smallville in that this is a slow burn to show the boy become the man. That is ok because the stories are compelling but I keep going by ages and some of the characters would be ancient when he becomes the batman but if you lose that thought the story works.

Another wild and crazy season of Gotham. This show gets better with each season, especially the performance of Robin Lord Taylor who continues to be one of the best reasons to tune in week after week. If you like your comic book based shows with a lot of crazy mixed in, Gotham is the show for you.

Season 3 picks up where season 2 left off. It's certainly an interesting precursor to the batman mythos. You have to remember this show is more about the evolution of the city of gotham than it is about bruce wayne becoming batman. If you keep that in mind, you can watch with more inhibition.

GOTHAM continues its slide into darkness in the 3rd season, making the need for a Batman even more apparent. The character of Penguin continues to dominate (the actor's performance is fantastic as usual), and the Riddler tries to hold his own. A fine season. Cannot wait for season 4.

Season 3 is a little less outlandish in plot terms, but more consistent in characterization, especially that of Jim Gordon. All the main players get quality moments,and it's nice to see Butch in the spotlight now & then. Top production values continue to impress.

My older children watch this weekly, so bought it for them as a gift. Was nice to see the blu rays were cheaper than dvds. It was a factor in purchasing. It's a dark drama, but one they enjoy. You should too if you're interested in 'BATMAN" or even "GOTHAM"!

Great show especially for those who are batman fans! Dark, mysterious, and true for any Gotham, Batman, and/or DC comic fans. Takes you inside what really goes on in Gotham that no one else is familiar with same concept that Agents of Shield does with Marvel.

Gotham is my favorite show over the last couple of years. One of the few I actually buy. Well written with great characters and plot lines. Doesn’t follow the comics exactly but that’s ok, I like not knowing exactly how things are going to play out.

I have loved this series since the beginning. Season 3 ties in lots of mysteries that the second one left behind. As expected you get to see young Bruce Wayne become more of the man he's destined to be. He also shows more of a darker tone.

Gotham continues to be the best of all the DC Universe shows with the highest production values and the most unique tone. As exciting as it is to see these characters develop and as strong as the acting is, I felt the love interest pursuit of The Riddler by The Penguin was more than I was interested in seeing... not that there's anything wrong with that...

I didn’t start watching Gotham until the second season, because I didn’t know if this series would be any good and I was surprised when I finally did. This series is so good, I decided to purchase the seasons on Bluray.

This season on Gotham was a bit darker then the first two. Of course they introduced some new characters and had things happen to the ones we already know. I won't spoil it but if you haven't watched the 3rd Season you should.
