Bike stopped working, awful warranty from GoTrax

Bike stopped working after a few weeks...no damage or crashes, just stopped working...I contacted GoTrax support for a warranty claim and they were shockingly difficult. Initially they required I send the bike to them at my own cost before a warranty claim could even be started. Eventually they offered to mail a replacement part, but said it would take 3-6 weeks....once that time period passed I received another update saying they were out of stock for replacement parts and the only warranty option was to return the bike to them--this time they offered a discounted shipping label but still required I send the bike to them before anything could be evaluated....this is 2+ months after the bike stopped working. The Manufacturer is awful and does not stand behind their products.
Best Buy stepped in and provided a replacement--but only after going through a very negative experience with the GoTrax Warranty Support

Horrible customer support, bike stopped working

The bike stopped working completely after 6 months….wont turn on.
Best Buy won’t accept a return or provide support even though I’m a Total Tech Member and the manufacturer says the only way to make a warranty claim is to ship the bike to them at my own cost, far out weighing the practical costs of buying an alternative. Very disappointing
