I was looking for a smaller sized pressure cooker for quick easy meals for one. This is the perfect size. I can make fantastic meals such as soups to last four days. You can quickly brown meat and hamburger then add other ingredients to slow cook a soup or stew all in one appliance. No more need for a crock pot. This does much more and does it better. The pressure cooker works extremely well and makes meals much faster to cook. The lid has a nice easy to use feature to remove the pressure and steam before opening the lid. It has a safety feature that makes it s o you can't open the lid until the pressure is released. The functions are exactly what I need. No over the top extras that might come with a larger or more expensive model. What I don't like that takes away a star is that the inner bowl used for cooking is difficult to remove, especially when everything is hot. There is only a small lip to grab hold of. So far I can't seem to figure out if you can set the slow cooker to less than six hours. If there is a way I haven't figured it out yet. Around the inner bowl is an area for food and juice to get into and it is difficult to clean out. I have to use Q-tips to get into the crevice. Lastly. I think the instruction manual needs a serious upgrade and the user friendly side. It doesn't go into the features of each button very well describing what its for and how best to use it.

I never used a Pressure Cooker before..I watched a video on making the "perfect" hard boiled eggs and the ease of peeling a hard boiled egg that was pressure cooked and it looked unreal. I had to have one. Yes indeed, Eggs were AWESOME, then it was my favorite, Split Pea Soup..wow 20 minutes pressure cook then rest for 5 minutes then quick release...no need to blend or use a stick blender, the peas dissolved and the ham was still chunky...the BEST split pea I ever made...I did saute the ham and onion in the pot first too. Then I made Corned Beef and Cabbage, OMG easy and tasty, 1 onion, 2 chopped Carrots & 40 oz of Beer, Meat and the seasoning pack, 70 minutes pressure cook, rest for 10 then release the pressure, remove meat, drop in Red Rose Potatoes and Cabbage pressure cook 7 minutes, then let rest 10 then release pressure...Meat was still hot and Veggies were cooked perfect ...couldn't be any easier. This weekend ARTICHOKES.

This Gourmia 4 Quart Pressure Cooker is my absolute favorite kitchen tool I own! This cooks everything so fast and everything turns out perfectly cooked. I have cooked so many different dishes in my Gourmia I can't count! I also always get compliments on the dishes I make. This Gourmia is so easy to use, it comes with a great user manual that's easy to understand and walks your right through the process. I always forget to thaw out meat for dinner and with this I don't have too, it cooks fully frozen meat very quickly so it's GREAT for working mom's or dad's who still want to put a good healthy meal on the table! I won't ever buy a crock pot again!

I bought this not knowing much about these cookers. It works but there are a couple of things not good. Example is I wanted to get a replacement seal for it. Nope, can not find one. Even contacted them and was told they do not have. May order one for a 4 qt from ebay just to see if it will work. Do Not like the coating on the pot, would like stainless steel like my instant pot. All in all I would not buy again, but is just kind of a toy for me anyway lol. I think parts should be more available and when this seal fails or gets old and stinky the pot will be of no use anymore. Unless a regular 4 qt seal will work.

I bought this for my parents because I love my instant pot so much. Mine is an 8 quart and it seems too big at times, so I thought this would be perfect for them because it wouldn't take up as much space and might heat up faster. Even though there's just two of them, my mom says this one is a little small. It works great for a meat for 2, like a small roast or a couple of chicken breasts, but when you try to add potatoes or other veggies, you run out of room. For the small difference in size and price between hers and mine, we recommend getting the larger one.

I purchased this pressure cooker on the assumption I can modify temperature/time based on the video Gourmia have on their website that explains how this works. I contacted customer services and they simply told me “oh the video is wrong” which has been frustrating. This product doesn’t serve my needs since it’s not sold as advertised by the manufacturer. I will be returning it Know what you’re purchasing before you pay

I purchased this pressure cooker as I needed a smaller one than the 8 quart I have now. With only myself, 8 quarts is way too big. I found this one on sale and thought I would give it a try. I am really impressed. It works as well as my expensive Instant Pot but at a fraction of the price. The 4 quart size is perfect for one or two people. I am very impressed with this pressure cooker and will probably get another one for a gift when they go on sale again.

Let’s say I don’t like spending my time in the kitchen. The Gourmia helps me cut time in the kitchen and still be able to cook healthy and delicious dishes! The receipe book is great! You will be surprise how many other kitchen gadgets you can eliminate after you use this beauty! The cleaning gets a little intense since there are a few “corners” to get to and is food, you don’t want to be stuck there! Reason why is not a 5 stars!

Very happy with this purchase. I have yet to use it myself, but I have had the opportunity to taste many great dishes other family members have made with theirs. I purchased the smaller version (4qt) since its just the wife and I now, but very happy i was able to get in one sale for under $20 ( used $10 gift card too). Can't wait to make my first meal and some Spanish rice.

This pressure cooker works well and compact. The non-stick vessel pot cleans up easily. The lid and pressure release work well as do the controls. The owners manual was not well written so figuring out how everything worked was a bit harder than necessary for me, someone who never used a pressure cooker before. It does not have some features of higher end cookers. Overall, the actual cooker works well and is recommended.

At this price point I did not have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. The small size make for easy storage, and simple operation. If given the choice again, I would still purchase this item. Only detractor I can give is the construction is very light weight, make me concerned about safety when I first got the cooker.

Pressure cooking is great, however old style stove top units are difficult to use and results are unreliable. This cooker is so easy! Just fill it with your ingredients and with the push of a button it automatically cooks to perfection with automatic time setting based on selection. When time is up it goes to a warming mode. Perfect! It also has a delay start timer. Really good deal and easy to use!

Been using this for about 2 months and it’s been a great addition to the kitchen. On the smaller side (4qt) but can still fit a whole chicken and is perfect for meals for 2. It is really simple to use and fast. For my needs a 6qt might have been better, but not enough to make me return it.

I bought this to replace my stovetop pressure cooker. I used it for the first time to cook oxtails and it came out perfectly in 60 mins! Will try other dishes like beef stew. So happy with this purchase - 4 qt is good for small family (3-4) cooking but would buy 6 qt for a bigger family

This pressure cooker cooks 50% faster than traditional cooking methods, a must with my busy lifestyle. The ability to use this as a slow cooker and rice cooker, in addition to pressure cooker saves considerable cabinet space. Plus it is very easy to use. It is hard to ruin dinner with this appliance.

Wanted to try out the new pressure cookers without spending a boatload on one if I didn't like it. Gotta say I love this little machine. Easy to use and oh so handy. Used the presets and they seem to do the job as directed. Tender meat in so little time.

These are one of the cheapest pressure cookers available. The lid detached instead of staying on a hinge. It cooks rice very well and I’m making very good use out of it. Haven’t had any issues so far, so if you want to try pressure cookers this is a good option.

Great all in one cooking appliance. Use more as a crock pot but have run it through the paces. Pressure cooked stew beef then added veggies to slow cook and makes perfect rice every time. Pretty much automatic and you can also adjust cooking times for beef, chicken and soups.

We use mainly the pressure cooker function of the multi cooker here. It was a smaller size, 4 qt. Good for smaller quantity of cooking. No problems so far. Convenient as it plugs in and does not take a burner or create a mess on the stove top.
