Fun to make dried fruits. Works well but takes a lot of fruit to make a bag full.

The dehydrator did a very good job. It had enough space that you can dry a large amount of product each time. The heat had a control which allowed you to change the drying depending on what you are drying. The shelves can be changed to suit the size of the item being dehydrated. The size allows easy storage when not in use.

Works well. Easy to use quick clean up great gift.

We love our new dehydrator, so for we've dried a bushel of apples tried a few bananas and have experimented with several batches of jerky. 5Stars all the way

This is a very compact dehydrator. Nice compact size.

I have only use this dehydrater twice so far but it seems to work well. The slide out trays are nice compared to my old stackable style but it does take up more space on the counter than I had planned. it only gets four stars because they only include one of each tray insert and they offer no option to purchase more.

I purchased this dehydrator in December of 2018 and today while I was making some jerky, the settings are not working, I cannot adjust the timer or the temperature and when I hit the off button, it does not turn off, need to pull the plug. I am so disappointed because the make or break decision about purchasing this unit was the automatic controls but now they are not working. Bummed out. Will be sending a letter to the manufacturer. I’ve had dehydrators all my life and the only reason I got rid of them was to upgrade not because they quit working.

Yesterday I attempted to dehydrate 6 trays of apples. This is my first attempt using this product. I sliced the Apples on a mandolin 1/4 " thick as instructed to do. I soaked them in Lemon Juice and water for 15-20 mins, rinsed and dried them. Maybe I put too many on each tray, but after 8 hrs at 131 deg, I raised the temp to 140 deg for 2 addtl hrs. When I got up this morning I noticed the apples were not even close to being dehydrated. I started the unit at 131 deg for 5 more hours , thats a total time of approx 14 hrs. The book says 8 hours at 131 deg. I must be missing something here!!!!!

We've made dried fruit and jerky with this. Works really well, you just need to slice the fruit very thinly. The jerky comes out amazing. Only negatives is that you can't put the trays in the dishwasher and it's larger than expected so we have trouble storing it.

I’ve made lots of jerky in this, dried fruit, etc…Lots of trays plus square is better than round dehydrators to fit sliced meat on it better.

works great . but most new air fryers can dehydrate food as well. I caught it as a deal of the day.

Really a good machine. dried a lot of persimmon and they came out great. apple will be our next fruit to test.
