Not as I expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yesterday I attempted to dehydrate 6 trays of apples. This is my first attempt using this product. I sliced the Apples on a mandolin 1/4 " thick as instructed to do. I soaked them in Lemon Juice and water for 15-20 mins, rinsed and dried them. Maybe I put too many on each tray, but after 8 hrs at 131 deg, I raised the temp to 140 deg for 2 addtl hrs. When I got up this morning I noticed the apples were not even close to being dehydrated. I started the unit at 131 deg for 5 more hours , thats a total time of approx 14 hrs. The book says 8 hours at 131 deg. I must be missing something here!!!!!
